Fixed my Auto lift gate as well as latching problem
My 2007 Suburban auto lift gate stopped working and it sounded like something was wrong with the motor. So I purchased a used lift motor, and did not fix the issue. I then changed out control module still no fix. The actuator on the handle that keeps the door closed sounded like it was working until one day it stopped hold the gate shut. I replaced the actuator in less then 10 mins and not only did it fix the latching issue, my original auto-lift motor also began to work. I will update if I have any issues that were described in reviews of this unit not working very long. But I have used it daily for the past week with no issues. Note: You don't need to remove the entire panel like most youtube videos show. Remove the interior hand grip area and the strap attached to door both I believe are torx-25. Then pull the rear panel away from liftgate. The clips should all pop out with little force. Make sure you pull the panel from one side to the other enough to expose the 3 torx screws holding the actuator in place. Remove screws, press plug clip release and remove. Install in reverse order. Push panel clips in place and your done. Test your liftgate.

Was easy to install and works great. Plenty of videos to watch for installation tips. If you are comfortable with hand tools and basic mechanical fixes, its pretty easy. Note: Part does not come with instructions. Installed in a 2007 Equinox.

Fixed the hatch of my suburban

Chevy Traverse liftgate latch/motor
So far so good. Installed innabout 20min. Body panel tools and 2 7mm screws to replace latch. Seems much quieter than OEM I replaced. Seems like product is quality and fit and finish is good. Purchased this part because latch would not unlock liftgate. Relay and other door locks works.

New latch assembly installed perfectly within minutes. All mounting holes aligned properly and connection to OEM harness was perfect. Installed on a 2013 Suburban.
