Take Care, Good Knight

Super great story. This whole series is just great. Very funny and well written and quite readable by early readers. Perfect length as well. My son loves cats and this story really appealed to him. It quickly became a favorite in our home. Get Well, Good Knight also features some pictures of the old wizards cats, so that is his second favorite out of the series. My only complaint about this book is that I prefer small format paper backs, this thing does not fit in my shoulder bag and therefore is an at home only book.I highly recommend these books to kids reading level 2 readers or as read-alouds to younger children.

This book has been read about a million times for betimes, and each time when the Knight says "this does not seem right" it gets giggles. It's about three little dragons who are entrusted with the Wizard's cats while he is gone. And since they can't read the instructions, they make it up as they go along with funny results. The Good Knight comes along and helps the little dragons out. While the story line is funny and entertaining, the pictures really capture the feelings and plot of the book.

It is very funny for example, in the book at bedtime there are three little dragons and there is a very braveknight. And the dragons are friends with the knight. So the dragons call the knight good knight so at bedtime they say good night good knight. And the pages are very hard to rip.

This book is hilarious! As a library media specialist and a mother of a three year old boy, I was happy to stumble upon this at the library. We immediately bought our own copy. The page where the dragons put the cats in the cupboard had us both reeling with laughter. If you've got a silly preschooler in your life, this is a must.

My kids love this book. It's a great story, it's silly and cute and a nice little lesson. My 2 year old loves the pictures and my 5 year old loves to help my read the story. And it's a kids book the I don't entirely mind reading every night. Will be buying more of these books.

My grandchildren have and love their cats. It was great being able to tie in this story to our Camp Memaw and Grandaddy a la Knights activities earlier this summer.

This is just an adorable story and my 5 year old laughs each time we read it because of the innocent, mistaken little dragons and their quest to take care of the wizard's cats. Very cute!

This is one of a very few kids books that make me laugh out loud. It'll work best if your reader knows something about cats but is finny either way.
