Can you bake your pizza right on this mat?

No you can't. I'll roll out my dough to the size I need then place a piece of parchment paper on top then flip it over so the paper is underneath. This helps with transferring the pizza from the pizza peel to the oven.

Can you cut off pieces of dough if careful, without damaging mat?

I use a dough scraper but just cut straight down. I would not "saw" on it. Great product for making big crusts.

Do you have to flour the mat to roll out dough?

Well.......you don't have to.....but the dough will stick if you don't use something. With some doughs you can use oil.

One person said some of the color was coming off when they washed it. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have had the Pizzacraft rolling mat for about three years and haven’t used it much. I have never used anything other than warm water and mild dishwashing soap to clean it. Lately, the red color has started to wipe off. I’m now hesitant to use it. I agree there is a problem with the color coming off
