Tower T838005W Sensor Bin with Retainer Ring, Battery-Operated, 50L, White

This is a really nice,modern looking,easy to use,automatic,waste bin !!! A very nice upgrade to my kitchen bin,which was definitely needed in my case. It has made a massive difference from the swing lid bin I had,and it's so much more hygienic aswell,being as you literally do not have to touch it,unless you change the bag or clean it.....Amazing !!! It looks great,it wipes down and cleans well,the bag is hidden inside wrapped over a retainer ring....It works fantastic !!!....And,it's the perfect size and colour I needed,what more can you ask for ??? It's also really well made,the top is lightweight but all together,quite heavy duty and top quality,in my honest opinion !!!.....It's worth every penny I paid for it,as far as I'm concerned !!! You will have to buy 4-AA batteries for the lid,so the more you use it,the more batteries you will need over time....Obviously !!!....But,for prolonged use,you can turn it off by a switch under the battery box and just keep the lid up until your finished,then just turn it back on again,simple !!! If you're looking for a modern,quality,automatic bin,then there's no need to look any further. I'm really happy with mine. Thanks !!!

Great bin. Very happy with this purchase. Lovely size, the 50L bin liners fit well and when you change the bin bag you can see that they are full with no wastage of bag. Follow the instructions about how to put in the bin liner because it does make a difference on how it operates correctly. Lid Opens and closes on its own as you walk up to it. Easy to keep clean as you’re not actually touching the lid all the time and so much better than a metal bin which is why I chose this one.

This werent a bad product, it just didnt suit the way I use my kitchen. The sensor is at short range and is completely horizontal/frontal, it doesnt sense anything from a diagonal angle at all, so wouldnt work when reaching over to put something in, or emptying a long armed dustpan for e.g. you have to be stood RIGHT infront of it for it to open and there is no manual back up button like some of the other brands. Tested it for a day before sending it back. Given it 4 stars as its a nice bin, just wouldnt work for me personally. If you have a large kitchen where you have to walk over to your bin area anyway, this would be perfect. Good size, good VfM

An amazziing product. Works well straight out the box. Looks great too & simple to setup & use.

Purchased two if these bins Total price £88. Both bins arrived and both bins are faulty. Worked on and off for 3 days - Battery light (red) remains flashing to indicate there is no problem with the batteries but the sensors do not work. The bins do not open. Contacted tower who advised me of many different troubleshooting ways to fix my problem such as spending more money on new batteries again... nothing works. The bins are faulty. It's now up to me to find the time to re package both bins and return them to amazon to get a refund. Frustrating to say the least! I have now spent £10 on packaging to return them because we threw out the original packaging..... and had to carry both bins back to the post office to return them! Not good quality no great customer service from amazon.

Very good bin. When you walk past it won’t randomly open you have to put your hand in front of the sensor for it to react. It shuts quickly after a few seconds . What I like is the fact that if the sensor stops working you can open it manually. Paid £36 which is a lot for me the most I ever pay is £10 for a kitchen bin I like the wide opening and the fact that you can hide the bag inside as it has a bag retainer I can’t stand seeing the binbag sticking out from the top of the bin . Regular 50l bags can fit I bought bags with the handles £1.67 Morrisons you don’t have to buy bags from Tower they would probably be very pricey

I didn't fully read the product description but liked the idea of the sensor. Imagine my surprise and pleasure when I discovered that the lid self-closes! A good product and value for money.

works fine but is mostly fragile, a small cog which is plastic broke and without this the lid wont open and I can even buy this spare part as the manufacturer said they dont have it or are not sure if they'll even stock it. The sensor is completely useless now, I am trying to find someone to print this using a 3d printer now :/ Knowing this I wont be buying another, it is perfect while it works though.

Ottima pattumiera automatica. Molto capiente. Un po' ingombrante (ctrl le dimensioni!) ma davvero ottimo acquisto.
