Q: Would this be good for the climate on the estuary moon of Trask??

To get the Trask look suggest get the green and over dye with blue = teal. No way to know if the color was from color grading or dying. I played it safe and got navy which is also worn by Quarren in background - looked as-is, no dye. I think they overdyed a cream version too.

Q: Is this sweater only for mon calamari or does it fit humans?

While this sweater was designed for Mon Calamari comfort in mind while above aquatic surfaces, humans can also wear it. In fact, it was actually designed to make non-aquatic lifeforms more at ease when visiting Trask by imitating a popular Corellian urban style. You should feel comfortable wearing it whether human or Mon Calamari.

Q: Does it retain its color and shape after laundering?

I did not purchase this particular color, I bought white and black. They do retain their shape and look just as good as when purchased if you follow the laundering instructions on the garment.
