Scam. Do not buy it
Do not buy this book. This version is missing 33 pages and they duplicated by my mistake 33 other pages.

I bought this as a gift, but I’ve read it before and it’s genuinely one of my favourites. Even though I haven’t enjoyed other Dostoyevsky books I’ve tried, this one is an excellent read. I particularly like the way it portrays the psychological states of the main character — how he reacts to events and how they affect him. As for this edition, my only complaint is the paper cover on the hardback. It feels flimsy and a bit cheap.

- extremely soft paper and acid free - clothbound with dustjacket and mark ribbon - with good layout and support materials - sewed pages, contributes to easily open the book

This is my favourite piece of literary fiction to date. A deep dive into the psychological motivations of different types of people and how they play out in a realistic fashion. Very readable, a page turner, and suspenseful. Dostoevsky does an excellent job of capturing the dark side of intelligent individuals who live in a society that they view with contempt. A dark psychological all time classic
