Should have done this long ago!! One burner went out so bought one...when we saw the difference, ordered the other three and replaced them all. Stove looks almost like new, and it is from the 60's!! Love it!! Should have done this long ago!! My only problem was that one of the ceramic plates for the connection cover was broken upon arrival...need to see if a replacement is available...? Check out new vs old in the pictures!! We replaced the drip pans too...

This 6" replacement part fit perfectly for a late '60s GE Drop In Stove. It was the most expensive option because it came as a full kit with ceramic plates etc... but all parts were installed, and much cheaper than replacing the stove and remodeling the kitchen top. One of the 4 connectors came a little bent due to the packaging but when installed it stayed fit, I was a little hesitant. All heating levels working good so far, considering to purchase it again to replace a second 6" heating coil element.

I ordered 3 of these to replace the ones I had on an old GE stove. Two of the packages were complete and the product was easy to install. The third package had a hole ripped in it and was missing the cardboard package containing the ceramic box that encloses where the wires contact the element. This package was also missing the small plastic bag that had the metal clips to keep the ceramic box closed, all the screws to connect it to the wires to the element and to attach it to the stove, and the rest of the metal pieces that came in the other two packages. For $43.12, I would expect to get all the pieces. I'm going to contact Amazon to try and get the rest of the needed pieces.

After receiving these elements from BUY-IT-NOW-STORE and installing them, I was very dissapointed to find out that they are not in fact G.E. parts. They are "SUPCO" brand.Had I known that they were sending me after-market SUPCO parts, I would have bought them cheaper elsewhere. I already threw out the old elements, so the seller's offer to take them back rings hollow to me. They didn't even offer to send me the real G.E. parts. It makes me wonder if they even have them there. This company must be making a killing advertising genuine GE parts, then selling after-market parts.

I ordered this for my mom’s 50+ year old stove, and it is exactly the correct burner. It works great. And the price was good compared to many other parts stores.
