Works GREAT—I'm happy
I needed to replace my old discrete graphics/video card, because the hardware was no longer supported, & the drivers weren't being updated. Which ordinarily wouldn't be a problem, but the driver crashed often, & usually crashed Win 7 64-bit also. So, looking around, I found what I thought would be a good serviceable replacement.Long story short, it turned out not good, so then I'm looking for a replacement for the replacement.Which brings me to this card, an ASUS AMD Radeon R7 250 1GB DDR5 128-Bit DisplayPort HDMI DVI Graphics Card R7250-1GD5-V2.Maybe I should've bought the 2GB version, but so far the 1GB is doing everything I need. The graphics are great, w/ the options to adjust the resolution to match the 24" TV I'm using for a monitor. The resolution is the recommended setting [1920 x 1080], & the color depth is "True Color (32 bit)"; video plays fine, so, all in all, I'm happy w/ it.Best of all, no more crashing driver+Windoz, so I can do what I need to do w/out having to restart a crashed computer multiple times.I haven't tried the HDMI connection yet, partly because of the fear that it will fail this time, too. But I will, even tho I don't expect any improvement in the output. [That was where the 1st replacement failed.]Overall, I feel I received good value for the money, particularly since I don't game, & only need a good quality STABLE solution.I would recommend this to others, as long as they also don't game, & just need a good serviceable graphics/video card.ASUS AMD Radeon R7 250 1GB DDR5 128-Bit DisplayPort HDMI DVI Graphics Card R7250-1GD5-V2

Graphic card
The Card was easy to install. I use it for video. I am not a gamer. The one thing I wanted it to do, but does not. I wanted it to handle 2 monitors at the same time. When I want to use my TV, I have plug in a HDMI cable. My monitor then show the back ground, icons, and sometimes the mouse. Other than that is that, it works well.

Works well for me!
I had to piece together my old gaming rig. MSI 890gxm-g65 motherboard, 8gb hyperx 1600 ram, Samsung 860 Evo 250gb with we blue 1tb for additional storage and added this video card. Plays overwatch, rocket league, Lego marvel, etc... Works well enough for me! Glad to find a semi decent video card that was compatible with my board!

No 3 Monitors on Windows 10
People claim to get 3 working at the same time on Windows 7. But claim the can not get more than 2 on Windows 10 at the same time. Then you need AMD Eyefinity software installed. When I select the Eyefinity tab in settings, All it says is "A Display Group could not be created using Quick Setup". I am still trying to figure out that the hell this means. So I can only get 2 monitors working at the same time on Windows 10 Pro x64. I have seen many people claiming on 2 will work on Windows 10. My question is why I see this message in the Eyefinity Tab that I mentioned above. I installed everything from the software/driver package >> win10-64bit-radeon-software-adrenalin-2019-edition-19.4.1-apr3

ASUS AMD Radeon R7 250 1GB DDR5
Great video card. Too slow for my cpu which is 8th generation Intel core, but that is my fault for not checking out the specs. Does work well with Starcraft 2.

Has problems with Win7 sleep mode and other programs.
If you are going to use this with a single monitor and never put your computer to sleep then should work well for you. However, if you frequently put your computer to sleep, this ASUS Radeon video card has a problem waking up properly. It wakes up with the wrong screen resolution. I have to cycle the power on the main monitor for it to restart correctly. I also have a couple programs that convert the screen to pdf files and they no longer work correctly if you have to scroll the screen.

Would Give ZERO Stars If I could
Fan failed after 11 months of usage. Now they want $15 for me to mail the device back to them for repair and at least a 10 day turnaround. After being an ASUS customer for a long time I will now avoid them because of poor warranty practices. It's cheaper to just glue a case fan on to the heat sink than to mail it back and wait 10 days. Will never buy another ASUS product after this.

Despite of have three video ports, this GPU is limited to 2 monitors
The graphics are terrific, it has a great app called Eyefinity, which makes a one single screen two screens. The wrong is that there is not a critical information in the specifications: Only two screens can be connected. My solution for three, was using one of the video port of the MB, and function well. But was a casuality, because the support of ASUS didn't know. I am sure that there will be several users with more knowledge that can say, it was obvious, but for others like me, here is my tip.
