Ortho Molecular Product Natural D-Hist - 120 Capsules

I did NOT receive anything for free and I do not want anything for free. Matter of fact, I'm pretty tired of these biased reviews, which is why I have started to review things religiously, just to help out when I can. I started D-Hist a few months ago, spring 2016. It came recommended to me from two girls, that also ride horses, which means, we spend a lot of time outdoors. I was born and raised in Germany, and now live in Alabama. Never had allergies my entire life until moving here. The first 2.5 years were so miserable for me, that I did not know what to do anymore. So upon their recommendation, I went to Amazon and purchased D-Hist (I was hissing at the price a little, yes, but I needed help). Within the first day I felt a slight relief, I thought - hm... interesting. Probably just a coincidence. But to my surprise, it got better by the day and I had no idea just how great it feels to live absolutely symptom-free again, until I had it back in my life and boy was it great! Mind you, I don't even take it every day anymore, only when I feel allergies come abouts, and it works perfectly for me that way. I could easily skip a day or two, but then I felt that symptoms were returning and quickly popped 2 pills. Yes, I'm not really going by what the package says, I realize that, but it works so well for me, that I decided not to change a running system. Last week, my truck was towed to the shop and my beloved D-Hist was in the glove box, I forgot about it. I was ok the first day or two, but it's day 7 and I am back to headaches, gasping for air, sore throat, stuffy nose and sounding like I was doing competitive drinking all night. I feel extremely terrible and because Ford doesn't seem to know what's up with my truck, and I do not know when I'll have it back, I gave in today, and ordered D-Hist again. Man, I honestly do not know what to do without it anymore. I hate feeling so sick and tired and just off. By the way, I brought my Australian Shepherds (dogs) with me from Germany, and one developed allergies as well. It was BAD! To the point where he scratched himself bald and bloody, coughing non stop and green junk coming out of his eyes. Steroid shots, thousands of dollars at the vet, the most expensive dog food all the way to raw diet - NOTHING changed it. So I started him on D-Hist, 1 pill per day and voila, we're done. Interestingly enough, even Max (my dog) is back to coughing now, sounding like he has kennel cough, same symptom as prior to taking this medicine, just after 7 days of being off D-Hist. We BOTH can't wait to have our little life saver back. This D-Hist is wonderful. It works quickly. It stop my sneezing and allow me to sleep wonderfully without my.nose dripping all night. Easy to recommend.

I love this product and have been using it for a year and a half now. I worked with an integrative medicine physician to change a pattern of regular colds that took weeks to abate, exacerbating asthma symptoms, that had been plaguing me for several years. This was one of the first things she suggested to me. About six weeks after starting to take these, I began thinking how great my throat felt when I swallowed. It was only then that I realized, in comparison, how bad my post-nasal drip must have been before I began D-Hist. In all this time, I have had one cold that didn't get bad at all and was symptom-free in just a few days. Now D-Hist was not the only change I made. I also chose to give up dairy last year, and I do believe that is part of my overall good health, as well as getting enough water and good sleep. But I definitely believe I was seeing good results from D-Hist before I stopped eating dairy. The last thing I want to comment on is the shipping for this item. Although every time I have ordered, my screen shows it as eligible for Prime 2-day shipping from Amazon, several times it has not come in 2 days from Amazon, but is sent from a third party and has taken a week or more. I've tried to gauge my supply so that I don't run out in case this happens, but it is frustrating to me to have this shipping switcheroo. (I've just reordered today, took a screen shot to prove that it was prime-listed. Will edit this post with the results of this order's shipping time.) One of those times, I was without D-Hist for about 8 days - an interesting "test" - I definitely started having the post-nasal drip issues again. My doc recommended to restart with the 'loading' period again.

I wish this didn't cost so much, but at this point I think it's a God-send, and so I had to write a review. I hope they stay in business, because this stuff has really worked for me. I have always had allergies and been a sensitive person, and I developed chronic hives 4 months ago (due to drugs used during and after an unrelated surgery). It has been 4+ months of chronic welts from the hives along with the terrible burning and itching all over. Before this, I had been given two prednisone shots, weeks of benadryl and other stronger, oral anti-histamines and none of them made the hives go away. I ordered these D-hist capsules, took 6 a day for the past week or so, and starting from the first day, I have experienced systemic relief. The hives are almost all gone. I have had a few small flare ups (which have been much easier to deal with than what I have been suffering through daily for so many months), but I think if I finish a bottle or two of this stuff, I may bring my system back to normal. Hopefully, I'll use less as I go along in a few weeks and taper down to 3 capsules a day. Chronic hives are a nightmare--uncomfortable to the point of not even being able to wear most of my clothes anymore, and these D-hist pills have helped me SO much, and unlike the doctor administered shots and drugs (which didn't cure my hives, anyway), even if I take the D-hist for a few months, they're not giving me other, terrible side effects or suppressing my immune system. Before the D-hist, I also took the Hyland's hives, Hyland's apis mellifica, and the Heel allergy tablets. They all provided some relief for my hives but the D-hist are definitely much stronger and almost completely wipe the hives out. I would suggest to anyone with chronic hives to take the D-hist, and also to dissolve Heel allergy and hyland's hives and apis tablets in their mouth 3x a day, and to also follow the candida diet (you can google that). All of this together has helped me a lot, but if you only want to take one hive/allergy med, buy the D-hist as it's the most potent. I represent no one, and only have sympathy for anyone else who may be suffering like I have been. I hope what has been working for me, works for you too. Good luck. UPDATE, 12/2015: still use D-Hist for an allergic flare up, whether hives or nasal allergies, and it still helps with allergic reactions, but I will not be needing to buy this too often anymore: A few months ago detailed lab tests (trust Kaiser not to run detailed tests until you have health problems chronically for 5 years...) showed I was super, super low in iron, vitamin A, and also vitamin D. (Healthy vitamin D was supposed to be around 60-80, and mine was 4!) I was first started on a vitamin D boost for 8 weeks, and no exaggeration, the chronic severe hives I had been struggling with for so many years just went away after the first two weeks of the 8 week boost. The change is astounding, and my doctor even looked into using me as a case study for chronic hives cured with vitamin D, and it turned out someone beat him to it--there was a recent medical journal article published that made the link between chronic hives and vitamin D deficiency. Now I only have to take D-Hist sometimes for nasal allergies, because thank God my hives are about 95% cured. (Whenever I stop taking vitamin D, the hives come back, so obviously that will have to be an ongoing supplement, but I'm just glad I finally found a cure to the hives.) good luck to all, maybe what worked for me will work for you, too.

So, I am in the middle of packing for a move, and there is dust everywhere! What better time to check the effectiveness of an allergy supplement, right? I was taking Benadryl for a few days, due to the convenience (available at the local drugstore), while waiting for this stuff to show up in the mail, and so, was able to do a side-by-side when it finally got here. Firstly, the Benadryl started losing its effectiveness by around the third day. The sneezing and nose-blowing was in full swing, and the Benadryl was no longer doing much to counter it. My body has this tendency to overreact to, and reject anything that is truly toxic to it, especially medications, and produces eczematous breakouts in response to them, among other things. I figured since the drug in Benadryl was meant to combat inflammation, it wouldn't matter. I had only planned on taking it for a short while anyhow, after hearing that prolonged use can potentially cause dementia. Anyhow, at first, it had calmed my skin, which was already inflamed, down completely. However, within a few days, it was worse than it was when I had begun taking the Benadryl. I should have expected that. It did surprise me that it was no longer helping with the sneezing and sniffles either. What was the point in taking it anymore? Then the D-Hist arrived... a few days early (yay!), and right on the day I decided I wasn't going to take the Benadryl anymore. Yesterday was the first day of taking this stuff, and I must say, I am truly amazed! Put To The Test... I decided to clean the vacuum filter, and, unintentionally, created this huge dust cloud, and was thinking, "Uh-oh... my allergies are gonna kill me today." I waited for it, and waited for it... and NOTHING. Not one sneeze, or even a hint of a runny nose, which, normally, may have plagued me for the rest of the evening, and probably on into the morning... apparently, even with Benadryl. Craziness! And my skin problems, which are mostly due to food allergies, are already showing improvement, just in the first day of taking this stuff. I am a believer. I will be purchasing this stuff until, either it stops working (like most things), or you stop making it. Pricey as it may be, I may not be able to live without it now. Thus far, it's worth every penny. Thank you so much! Now, I'll be able to get through this move without getting snot all over everything. LOL. UPDATE (11/10/2017): As the price of this item has, gradually, increased since I first discovered it, I have been forced to seek out other options to remedy my health issues, and I understand why now... I found some things that work way better, doing the same job, right here on Amazon. If I am going to be paying $70/month for this stuff (how much it was last time I checked), I may as well just get multiple supplements to address the individual issues, huh? That's what I did, and I can't regret it. I only wish I had looked into it sooner. P.S. If you're looking for something for allergies, I could not recommend Quercetin any more highly. Great healthy product that works...

This is my first review. I really want people to know about this product. My allergies keep getting worse year after year. I don't like to use a lot of medicines, so I only take the store brand of Claritin most of the time. I also intersperse it with the Homeopathic drops from Bio-Allers for grass, pollen, trees, or animals, whichever is giving me the most trouble. The drops work quick and I like them but recently my allergies were out of control. My eyes had been weeping for 2 days (this was a completely new problem for me, usually I have itchy eyes and ears and sneezing and runny nose, I also have asthma which gets kicked up when my allergies get real bad) and I just couldn't get any real relief. A friend had some D-Hist and said it really works. I took 2 pills at the beginning of the movie "The Butler" and at the end, 2 1/2 hours later my eyes had stopped weeping. I have continued to take two per day (one just doesn't seem enough) sometimes together, sometimes one in the am and one in the pm and I feel great. I have no allergy symptoms and I haven't taken any allergy meds or anything else for allergies. These things really work. I have only been taking them for 5 days, but I am completely impressed that I may no longer need allergy meds. Update October 2, 2013: These things continue to work. Sometimes I need more, sometimes less, but they have really helped me get through some of the worst allergies I have ever had. The thing I love most is that they don't make me tired. If I'm having more trouble and need extra help with my sinuses, I take another product from this company called Sinatrol. It's excellent as well.

I am a busy almost-40-year old mom and I have always had horrible allergies to so many environmental things, including pets...and I also have a Great Dane that I'm not about to give up! The OTC antihistamines, nasal steroids, and asthma meds were not doing enough and I'd still be miserable many hours of the day, especially if I gave in and played with my big sweet pup. I was determined to find something natural as an adjunct to my medications since, in the past, allergy shots would cause severe reactions with wheezing, etc. The medical community had nothing more to offer me, other than to encourage me to give up my beloved 4 legged kid. (I am a medical professional by trade, so I know what's out there and short of continuous steroids I've tried everything). I decided to give D-Hist a try and honestly, it is nothing short of amazing. Within an hour of the first dose, I could tell a difference, but the effect wore off quickly. Over time I have noticed a build up of the effects. It's been a week and I'm still taking 2 caps 3 times a day, but I have been able to greatly decrease how often I need the other medications. I was very skeptical, but I am pleasantly surprised! I can play with my dog without wheezing and sneezing, and in the past if he'd mouth my arm or lick me, I'd have itchy welts within minutes...so far, no welts, unless I'm due for a dose of my D-Hist. I then take it and they resolve. I don't usually write reviews, but I know they made a difference in my buying this, so I wanted to contribute. I take 2 as soon as I get up in the morning and I'm ready to go! (I try to eat within 30 min or I do get a bit of nausea, but otherwise, no problem!) Also, the ingredients are so good for so many other issues, I'll be interested to see what else improves! We'll see how it goes longer term, but so far so good!
