Very convenient and easy to use.
Works perfectly on my storage unit. Word combination is so much more convenient than a number combo or a keyed lock. Directions for setting the combination are very clear. Whoever wrote them should be applauded for their clarity.

Easy to operate.
Some have said this lock feels cheap, or is hard to operate. Over about two month's of use, that's not been my experience. I did oil it initally, which may have helped smooth out the workings. I found resetting the combination very straight forward. Also, I like that the combination wheels are exposed on the front "and" back of the lock - that allows using your thumb and forefinger to spin the wheels. With other locks having only front side wheel access I've had to use my fingernail to spin the wheels - less desirable to me. I would buy this again if need arose.

Nice Lock but the throat could be bigger
The lock works smoothly and I like being able to use a word. I hope it weathers well as it does look well made. My largest (only) negative critique is that it's very hard to use with cables as the opening isn't large enough. I was unable to use this lock with a 12 mm cable and my 10mm cable just barley fit. This actually feels better built than my Master Lock version but that lock can easily contain the 12mm cable.

1.5 years and would buy again.
We've had this on a storage unit for 1.5 years. We once hit it with some WD-40 to restore the smooth function. Note, it doesn't have 26 letters on each dial.

Too difficult to use
I was afraid I'd have to find some bolt cutters. Too difficult, lots of fiddling to get it to open. Also, difficult to move 1 of the dials, independent of the other 3. Once I got it off, went straight to the trash.

WORKS AND FITS LIKE IT SHOULD
lock was all metal with rubber grips. The opening lever was metal not plastic.locks are a bit stiff to open

Lever is hard to use
We have been using this lock on our indoor storage unit for our cleaning business for just about 6 weeks now. The lever that you use to push the lock shut does not want to move. It takes a lot of time and effort to jiggle it shut. We will be purchasing a new lock.
