Q: Is this approved for eating? I don't see anything on the label as if it is a food product ... Why doesn't the bottle have a nutritional facts label?

This is a food based spray used for coating waffle makers before adding the batter. It's a great product that some of the major hotel chains also use. I've been using it since I discovered it at one of them.

Q: What are the ingredients? And is silicone edible if it's among them?

Water, silicone, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, ethyl and propyl paraben (preservative), sodium benzoate (preservative), sodium lauryl sulfate.

Q: Is this a spray to be used with each waffle or is it more of a maintenance type product?

You don’t use it for each waffle. As a matter of fact, I got my a$$ handed to me by a very grouchy hotel employee who said THEY spray it on only three times during the whole breakfast service. I never use it when at a hotel, and it never had a waffle stick.

Q: Does this spray expire?

It has an expiration date 2 years out. It did NOT work for me on a new waffle iron or my old waffle iron. It made a mess of both waffle makers. I went back to using corn oil spray. I feel ripped off by the price for a product that did not work.
