These work great, I use a gauze pad in-between though because after a while it hurts

Got these for my husband. Worked great. He wore them for three days after draining his puffy ear. By day three, once the puffiness had gone down, they were becoming more uncomfortable. He then used the provided foam to help cushion between the magnets. So far so good!

They apply a good amount of pressure and kept my ear from refilling after being drained. This is huge for me because usually I need them drained more than once and it's a hassle. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it says "Caulibuds will fit comfortably in your ears but most importantly, stay in place during hard workouts and training" Since it's designed for cauliflower ear I assume they mean grappling training. They absolutely will not stay in place during a hard roll. Probably not that safe to wear them on the mats anyway. They were also a little pricey, but I got what I expected and it's already paying off. I've already been recommending them to my training partners.

These worked great for my son’s cauliflower ear.We had it drained, the doctor wanted to sew cotton to my sons ear to keep it from filling back up and was extremely condescending when I showed him these and asked if this was a viable solution to keeping pressure on the ear. Jerk of a doctor basically shrugged and said try it out but to call when we had to get it re-drained.We kept gauze on the cut from getting it drained (so it could keep draining) for 2 days. Then used the cushions provided in this set for comfort for I believe 2 weeks just to MAKE SUUUURE it didn’t start to fill again. It fit perfectly in my son’s ear. He didn’t complain about it hurting, he said the pressure from the magnet wasn’t too much when he used the cushions.His ear healed and has not been an issue since. Which was a huge relief after the doctor was such a jerk.

Let’s keep it simple. Drain it then place this on. It’s goona hurt but it works. So either get your funky ears or take the pain!

These worked fairly well when I got cauliflower ear recently. The magnets are very strong and made my ear start to hurt after about 30 minutes, but I was able to fix this by taking a piece of styrofoam about half a centimeter thick, cutting it to match the shape of the buds, and putting it on the backside of the ear between the buds. Over time, the styrofoam compressed, so I made another one and added it between the buds. Now, I have a set of fully compressed styrofoam pieces so I'm all set to go if I get cauliflower ear again!

I appreciate Caulibuds for sending me another order when my shipment was stolen, they responded very quickly. Honest review, bought this for my boyfriend for his cauliflower ear and it was after he had drained it twice. we had used earth magnets prior and it was way too strong it left an indent and left his ear raw so I decided to get these. I wouldn’t say it doesn’t work because it does and it is strong! But I think it works better to prevent cauliflower ear especially when it’s irritated/swollen. Because his ear was so badly cauliflowered on the inside of his ear the magnet didn’t stop it from filling back up because it didn’t fit inside the crevices of the ear closer to the eardrum. Unfortunelty it had to be drained by a doctor but he will continue to use these to prevent future flare ups

I've been dealing with a recurring case of cauliflower ear. I turned to these to hopefully keep my ear compressed and eventually let it heal correctly. I had my ear drained by an ENT and then the magnets were placed on my ear and I was told to keep them on for a week. After about two days, I had to take them off because the pain was agonizing. These magnets turned my skin black, caused skin damage, pressure necrosis, and an ear infection. These magnets are way too strong and ended up making my cauliflower ear problem much worse. If I would have somehow managed to keep them on for the recommended week, I could've had serious damage to my ear. Nowhere in the instructions does it warn you how strong the magnets are or recommend putting some sort of cushion to relieve some of the pressure. Now I have to take antibiotics and spend even less time training. AVOID THESE MAGNETS.
