Well, first off...I don't write many reviews. And I don't write reviews only when I'm not happy with a product. This is my first camping stove I've ever purchased. Basically, you won't be displeased with this product. It is awesome and very compact. Holds over a liter of water and has a really nice handle on the side so that when the water, for example, is done boiling you can easily pour it into water cup or canister you want. I had great success with Cup O' Noodles! Coffee is a breeze, although I do instant only. I;m sure that I could cook a lot of things in this, but I choose not to because I'm lazy and I don't want to spend time washing something when I'm using this. I'm military, and when I'm in the field, sometimes I need to move quickly...bringing me to my last point. This cooking system heats up things fast, and surprisingly, the burner and pot cools off very quickly. I like this. Fast is always good. Mine came with a nice travel bag to stowaway and doesn't take up much room in a medium pack. I was going to go for a JetBoil. I'm glad I didn't spend twice the money for something that does the same job as this, if not better.Pull the trigger on this one, the components are very sturdy and of good quality. I've had two buddy's purchase them already. They told me they couldn't stand to see me eat hot noodles and canned food while they choked down another MRE. Just do this!

I ordered this because it was said to be as good as a jetboil but at less than half the cost....finally got to try this out at the park this week ....boiled 500 ml of water in 1min 48 sec @72 deg.F. - That's fast! Put the pot adapter on and used my Primus litech fry pan to cook some leek dumplings and bacon....very good flame control for low simmer or low heat frying...the stove, stabilizer, pot stand, lid and a 230 gram fuel canister stack nicely into the pot.....the pot is neoprene insulated to keep water/soup or stew warm longer and has a securely locking handle for pouring...this all nests nicely into the mesh stuff sack with room to spare so I stuffed a collapsible cup and a spork in as well to make a complete cook kit.....works as advertised with a great price point....if it has a fault (and it's a minor one depending on your usage) it's that the unit is a tad large and weighty for lightweight back packing (Only in my opinion) but I will certainly get my use out of it canoe trekking or motorcycle camping....UPDATE: I have used this cook kit exclusively as my motorcycle camp kit...this x2 cooker, my prmus litec fry pan, sea to sumit folding coffee mug and a folding spatula and spork fit nicely in the corner of one saddle bag....it has given flawless reliable performance.

This will be everything you need for a backwoods portable burner. Best value and good construction - buy this one over the other brands that make similar stoves and save yourself some money. Will work with MSR and Jetboil brand gas (it's the same thread & gas). This includes the little pot/pan mount platform too, in case you have your own stuff and don't want to lug around the 1L pot. All the components fit inside the pot and it packs up nice inside the mesh bag that's included. It's about the size of a 1L Nalgene bottle. Sweet!!

Boils water very fast. Lightweight. Compact. Great for camping, hiking, or working at a remote job site and you want some hot food. I didn't have any stability issues, worked fine for 9 inch T-fal skillet to make some bacon and eggs. It is easy to use. I like how the handle folds over to hold the lid on when stored. My only complaint is the flame would go out if I didn't use the pan stabilizer attachment (-1 star). When I attached the mug directly to the stove like in the picture the flame acted like it burned so fast it used up all the oxygen before more air could get in and the flame would go out. In which case I could see it working when it was windy out. I just couldn't seem to keep the flame going. Maybe it was operator error and I needed to play with the flame settings more, but I was hungry and just used the attachment and didn't feel like messing with it anymore. It wasn't a show stopper for me, as it cooks super fast otherwise with no issues. I like it enough that I would buy another one if this one ever breaks. I would definitely recommend getting one. ***Update: 6/30/2017*** I updated this from 4 to 5 stars. I played with the flame adjustments some more in a controlled setting and was able to adjust it so the flame fine and it stayed on with the cup mounted directly to the stove (like in amazon photo) without the need for the pan stabilizer attachment. I figured out the day I tried it in my original review the winds were gusting around 25-30mph and kept blowing the flame out. But by the time I used the pan attachment the winds had died down. In retrospect I just needed to use a windbreak and it would have worked with no issue while it was windy. One minor thing on my stove, the folding handle to adjust the fuel flow valve has to be in an open position in order to fold over so that it will fit inside the cup. So if you forget to close the valve before you connect/screw on your fuel can, some fuel will leak out when you screw the can on. So remember to close the fuel valve all the way before you screw the fuel can on.
