What is the difference between this item and the "sun shawl" that is $10 more?

The Everyday Beach Shawl is made from our ZnO SUNTECT® fabric that is a super soft cotton/bamboo/Spandex blend and measures 72 inches X 29 inches. The Sun Shawl is made from our Active SUNTECT® Athlon fabric that is a Polyester/Spandex blend and measures 72 inches x 27 inches. The Sun Shawl also features our Cooltect™ technology that accelerates moisture wicking for a cooler workout and an antimicrobial finish that helps keep the fabric fresh.

Is the material in Sanibel thicker than Bhakti? Which one is better for summer?

The Sanibel is made from our ZnO fabric which is a cotton blend - it is very lightweight and breathable and soft to the touch. The Bhakti is made from our Active Athlon fabric which is a polyester blend. This fabric is great for physical activities, as it features our Cooltect™ technology that accelerates moisture wicking. Both fabrics are lightweight and breathable, as all Coolibar fabrics are designed for that.

When will the black be in stock?

We will be restocking the Black color later this month in September.

I want to get the black to take on a beach vacation but worried that black might be hot in the sun will the black still keep you cool in the hot sun?

I bought the black and wore it daily on Aruba’s beaches. I run hot and didn’t feel any hotter wearing it!

This is so great for any season. Around your neck in winter. Over your head in a light rain. A thin extra layer in any season/air conditioning. Sun protection. Baby blanket. Over a hot seat. It has fashion applications and utility applications. I will never travel without one. I love love love mine. This is what all the ladies in my family are getting for Christmas this year.

I am a fast burner-- even with sunscreen, etc. I was thinking of buying a Coolibar jacket but was concerned that they might not be comfortable on my larger frame and saw this for about half the price. I use it over my arms, chest, and legs when I'm a passenger-- a time when I often burn on a long drive. My face was burned a bit but the rest of my body was OK after 5 hours of driving into the sun!
