I ordered this for my 96y/o mother who suffers from a cognitive decline. It is easy for her to use and not to bad to load with meds. I have it set to deliver her meds twice a day. It has a very loud alarm that can be heard across her 2000 square foot home. In fact, if you are sitting next to the machine when it alarms it will startle you. The only draw. is that it did not come with an AC power cord. It does have the AC port just no cord. For now I will see how long the batteries last. It does have a low battery indicator in the LED display.

This is an amazing way for you to care for loved ones when you can't be there. Set up can be a tad confusing but not bad. It keeps things organized and you never have to guess if they've taken their meds or when it needs a refill. It even tells me when the battery is low. I wish they included cutomizable dosage rings. I had to color over the numbers for night and day so it made more sense because morning and evening meds are not the same. If the last does is not completely emptied on the first dump it will reset to the dead spot leaving meds locked in the box, or they get stuck during the reset rotation. Warning.....Very thin flat pills (super thin) can float out of their compartment and into others. I love this med dispenser, but make sure you understand the warnings. It's not perfect, but definitely worth the money.

I set this up just like it said and for the first few days it worked fine, however after a few days it would not keep time correctly and so it would not rotate correctly.

This pill dispenser has been great. It works beautifully for my elderly mom who has memory issues. Takes the stress away for both us. Now we know that her medication is being taken correctly. It has even improved her health. I have recommend this to friends who are going through similar situations with their parents. There is only two drawbacks. One, is that the lid on the larger size is not see through. It would be so helpful to be able to see how many days of medication were left in the dispenser. Two, mom says the alarms aren't that loud. Fortunately though it has a feature where you can record your own messages. She says she hears me loud and clear! I highly recommend this product.

This machine allows the patient to take their meds at the appropriate time of day, which allows for a feeling of independence for the patient, while the caregiver knows the patient is safe. Organizing multiple meds for daily doses is a lot of work, and this machine has slots for 28 doses, with options for meds to be dispensed once a day, or multiple times per day. The locking door ensures patient cannot accidentally take more than one dose at at time. The filling of the machine takes close attention to ensure doses are accurate. This has been a great tool for us!

I bought for my 79 year old grandmother because she almost overdosed taking to much medicine. It works really well it locks so she can only get to the does she is supposed to take. I also love the alarm it gets loader the longer it goes off so I can hear it from the other room to know she hasn't taken her medicine yet.

Bought this to help manage my mom with Alzheimer’s pills. Great idea, but some flaws. Her really small pills sometimes get stuck in other slots. I don’t like how the days are paper and they don’t stay with the little tabs. Pros are that I can do 28 days of pills at a time. I also like that it locks so she can’t open it.

This was a LIFE SAVER when my grandmother got to the point where she could no longer fully take care of herself. Amazing product. 10/10 recommend.
