It’s pricey because it actually works, without stressing your dog out
TRAINING WITHOUT STRESS: Great training tool, is working on my very stubborn dogs. I like that there are 100 stimulation levels, so that I have the ability to train my dogs without causing them distress. I set it at the lowest level necessary to get their attention. THIS IS NOT A “SHOCK COLLAR” (when used properly): People who say that stimulation collars are inhumane probably don’t realize that these modern stimulation collars are nothing like yesterday’s shock collar. I held it in my hand while applying stimulation, so that I could see what it felt like. It does not hurt, but it does get your attention. GIVES TONE OR VIBRATION OPTIONS: You can set it to give tone or vibration prior to giving stimulation, so dogs quickly associate the vibration with the need to pay attention. Half the time I don’t even have to use stimulation. WORKED ON MY 2 YEAR OLD RESCUES WITH NO PRIOR TRAINING: I have only been using it for 7 days, and I see more improvement in just 7 days than I have in their entire life. They actually seem calmer because they have clear consistent training. No anxiety from wondering what is expected of them and trying to figure out boundaries and rules. START LOW, GO SLOW: Just start your dog at a low setting, I started at three and worked my way up. I found a level 17 to be perfect for one dog, and a level 25 to be perfect for the other dog. MUST BE SNUG: Just make sure that the collar is snug enough to produce the same amount of stimulation every time. If it is too loose, the level will feel much different depending on the dogs position. USE WITH POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT: I recommend using it in conjunction with positive reinforcement. Every time they respond appropriately, they get a treat. This product has done wonders for my dogs. FOR THOSE ON THE FENCE: For those on the fence that are concerned about stress caused by stimulation, consider how stressful it is for a dog when they get yelled at or punished - and can’t figure out what they did wrong. READ THE MANUAL. THEN READ IT AGAIN: This is a pretty high-tech item, and definitely requires a full understanding of how to use it. I read the entire instruction manual several times before I put it on the dogs. It’s a little bit complicated at first, but reading the instruction manual and watching YouTube videos really helps. Give yourself a few days to practice before you actually put it on the dog. CHEAPER THAN THE ALTERNATIVE: And yes, $300 feels like a lot of money to spend on stimulation collars. However, after using them I realized that they saved me so much money. I had already done a consultation with a professional dog trainer, and was about to spend $1800 to get both my dogs professionally trained - that was the lowest quote I could find. With these stimulation collars, I do not need a professional trainer because I am able to do it myself successfully. And we are talking about two dogs that were pretty much feral when I got them. Now that I don’t need a professional dog trainer, I essentially saved $1500....and my sanity. I hope this review was helpful in answering some of your questions! ♥️

Amazing product - saved mine and my dogs relationship!
AMAZING - *Please do your research on how to properly use this device.* This e-collar has been an amazing training device for my very reactive, energetic malinois mix! I adopted him as a pit mix which I’m very familiar with, however later found out he is also mixed with malinois which is a high energy working breed. I was not very familiar with the breed or how to handle them, however, I did my research and learned if he’s not working he needs a lot of training and excercise. Prior to getting this training collar, walking was a nightmare because he was so reactive seeing other people or dogs on walk I was highly embarrassed by his behavior and honestly was having difficulty handling his pulling, lunging and force despite my best efforts. This collar has helped me be able to refocus his attention on me and get better control of him to be able to walk regularly and get that energy out. Within two days I was able to get him to heel on command and actually lay attention to me and only me. Now I can trust him off leash in contained circumstances (we’re still training, it’s only been a week) and have peace of mind that we can be a team. Again, please research how to properly use this training technique as many people use these collars as punishment when they should be use as a form of communication and training. If you are struggling with your dog and are feeling hopeless, I highly highly recommend this! My favorite features are that there are three settings : tone, vibrate and stim. You can use these all to your advantage. I also love that the stim feature goes up in increments of 1 so you can find the perfect adjustment to properly get your dog engaged without overstimulating them. I have tested it on myself and it is not painful, it feels similar to a TENS machine which is used to stimulate and relax your muscle at the chiropractor so it’s not necessarily a “shock”. However, if you set the wattage too high it is uncomfortable so please also be considerate of that and start low and work your way up just enough to catch your dogs full attention. I like to use one button on a lower stim that just gets his attention, a second stim with slightly higher wattage in case of emergency or high reactivity to snap his attention back to me quickly, and the tone setting so hopefully one day he’ll know the tone means stim is coming if he doesn’t respond and not even need to actually stim. Worth every penny!

Incredible CS and warranty
Bought this in May of 2024 but wanted to learn how to use it before putting it on my dog. Finally got around to being trained on using it a couple weeks ago but by then, it stopped charging. You had to shove the charger into the receiver on the collar and hold it with a lot of force just to activate charging. I couldn't sit there and hold it like that for an hour or more each time so I check and it was under warranty (warranty is for 2 years!!). Just got off the phone with them and the process couldn't be easier. They're shipping me a new collar receiver that will be here in 5-6 days. Prior to this, the collar worked amazingly well and I'm looking forward to putting the replacement into play with my pup. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company for their products and their warranty as well as their Customer Service

Worth every penny!
Absolutely amazing! This E-Collar is worth every penny, the proof is in the results. As I've literally bought so many over the years, and I'd rather invest in this brand vs. buy several cheap ineffective collars that cannot even solve my dogs behavior issues as they end up either not being strong enough or they rile up the dog (raise cortisol levels vs. lower). Pros: It's battery is absolutely amazing, it's waterproof (no need to worry if your pup jumps in the river for a dip), strong enough for most pups but does go higher if needed, has light functions and tracker, it also has amazing hypactic feedback and doesn't lag, can use pavaloni tone or tapping, not too bulky in size, but effective for off-leash drills or trips to the park. Best E-Collar I've tried and I have tried so many of them. This E-Collar is definitely worth every penny, it's easy to use, durable, and functional.

Good for recall and training
The original package it came in, had a different serial number than what was on the device which made me wonder if what I received was a used model. Used it to train and found it effective. However had to replace battery earlier than expected and to do that had to order it from the company. The tech support was very helpful! Even after replacing the battery the power seems to be so much less. I have to turn it up to around 25 to match the former setting of 8; I always test it before putting it on my pooch. I only use it as a recall device now on a German Shorthair who occasionally gets fixated on a scent and needs a prompt to recall.

Very Happy But Take The Time To Learn How To Use It Responsibly
I have an 8 yr old dog that we adopted from the shelter. He always had a number of annoying issues that we could tolerate in the past. But after moving to new house these issues started to get much worse very fast for some reason. I spent a lot of time on YouTube learning how to train and fix these issues. Joined subscription based online dog training. After about 1-2 months, I did manage to fix most issues using positive only counter conditioning methods and some small changes in the way we managed him. I managed to fix most of the issues like barking at door bells, door knocks, garage door opening, jumping on visitors, barking on leaSh at people on walks, barking when family members talk a little loudly at each other in the house etc. However there were still two issues what I could not fix using positive only methods. These were : 1. fence fighting as we shared backyard fence with 4 other neighbors. 2. Barking & lunging on leash at other dogs on walks (although he was fine with humans now) I thought very hard about using an eCollar on my pet. It was either this, put up with my dogs bad behavior and risk neighbors complaining for his fence fighting or return him to the shelter to be someone else's problem. I decided to purchase this eCollar as a last try and I couldn't be happier with it. Fence fighting was fixed in a few days using only level 6 to 9 and some very good timing. Before the eCollar when he started going beserk, I had to go out to the backyard in the night with a leash, try to chase down my dog, put a leash or carry him indoors. Aggression at other dogs on outdoor walks is now reduced significantly but I have only had the collar for about 2-3 weeks. I am also using the eCollar for improving the heel and recall outdoors. Adding the eCollar for his heel only needs a working stim level 2 outdoors and I can get him to walk right by my knees with occasional ecollar pressure at level 2. As an indication, when I put the collar on my own body, I only barely start to feel the stim at a level 8. It is more of a feedback to my dog that he is going out of the heel zone and needs to come back in. Certainly not a punishment at all. For recall outdoors on a long leash I work mostly under level 10 to get his attention for him to come back when he is really distracted. It took me a long time to arrive at a decision to purchase the eCollar but I am now fully convinced I made the right choice. I took my time to learn how to use it properly first. After using it for about 2-3 weeks, I did not break the bond I have with my best friend, we are still good pals. In fact it think it made our bond stronger as he is a lot more in tune with me where he used to turn a deaf ear in the past. I find he is learning to leave the walks up to me and he just needs to follow that's all. I now think there is hope my dog can go off-leash maybe in a month or two. As soon as there is no aggression at other dogs, and his heel and recall is full proof with heavy distractions, I will take him off leash but with just the eCollar for safety. If you are like me, struggling with dog issues and are thinking of returning your dog to the shelter, DON'T. Give this a try. I strongly recommend you first take the time to learn how to use it responsibly on our best friends. There are a lot of good quality free videos available on YouTube. The 2 Youtube video series playlist that were most useful to me are : 1. How To: E-Collar Training! By Take the Lead K9 Training 2. Penny's Training Camp Journey By Liberty K9 Dog Training & Rehabilitation Or seek help from a professional balanced dog trainer. As for the product quality, while a bit pricey, I found to be very good quality. I did not have any battery issues as mentioned by others. Battery last about 2-3 days before I have to charge it. Also did not have any issues with inconsistent stimulation levels mentioned by others. But I do ensure I fit it snugly on my dog every time. As I said, take the time to learn how to use it properly to get the best use of it and to treat your dog humanely and respectfully.

Great for my German Shepherd.
I like this product much more than less expensive versions bc the charge can be set so low that it just feels like a tap on my the inside of my wrist. My dog loves wearing it because we communicate so well on our walks with it. I have always avoided Electric collars but this is an awesome product and has really closened my bond with my dog.

It Works, But...
I should start by saying this is my first experience with any e-collar. I have had them for about 1.5 months. They work well in that they get my dogs' attention and the dogs listen immediately. We had our dogs trained by a professional for 6 weeks and they introduced the collars. The collars have been an amazing tool in controlling our 100lb dogs when they are fixated on something and barking. The drawback is how the unit works and the lack of, what I feel, is basic functionality/technology these days...especially for the money. The fact there isn't some kind of battery life indicator is disappointing. The functionality of switching the mode between vibrate and sound/stim is HORRIBLE. You have to push two buttons simultaneously and the odds I've had getting it work is about 1 in 2o tries. I've given up using that functionality because it's so awful. I do use the boost feature, which also seems unnecessarily difficult to setup, and it works. Charging seems like it could be wireless and there definitely should be some indicator for charge level. Seems silly that there isn't some kind of basic app to give you info about the units. The lights work well and are easy to use. I have gotten pretty adept at using the system, other than the afore-mentioned mode switching, since I' got the units (and that's with two dogs, simultaneously). Again, they work well, but they seem lacking in some features and the functionality I would expect for what they cost. If they broke tomorrow, I would most likely at least shop around to see what else is out there. Based on the other products I've seen out there so far, I most likely would try something else next time.
