Theres 4 pockets two are inside two are outside on the sides, inside there are slot pockets as well. And there's one extra laptop pocket in the back

Will it hold a huntsman hood strongly enough for it not to fall out easily? I work offshore so don’t want it falling out and into the water.

The hood holder is made of netting that is not very strong, plus it tears easily. It may last for a few uses, but I wouldn’t trust it to hold for a longer period than that.
