These bushings worked great for my Fiat 500 Abarth! The BushingFix bushings were the perfect complement to my short shifter and made my shifts feel crisper. Now it feels like I'm driving a sports car when rowing through the gears! Trickiest part of the install was removing the old bushing material. I cut out most of it with a razor blade, torched the remaining rubber for 30 seconds, and was easily able to clean out the carrier. Afterwards, I pressed in the bushings using a vise. Make sure you count the number of turns when removing your original bushing carrier!

Black bushing failed after 2300 miles, ended up needing to have the car towed. The extra star is because they did tighten up the shifter feel while they still worked. I’d recommend the DICorse shifter linkage solid rod ends instead of these - more initial cost but way less likely to fail. UPDATE: I ordered a second kit while waiting for the solid rod ends from DICorse (gotta get to work somehow). Believe it or not, the second kit failed only one full day after the install, about 15 miles of driving. This is the SECOND time this kit has failed and left me stranded and waiting for a tow. Don’t install these - I guarantee you’ll regret it eventually (or like in my case, almost immediately).

First bushings lasted a little less than a year, the replacement failed within a week. This product is trash and seemingly made from a very poor quality rubber. Bite the bullet and get the OEM cable with bushings instead, lest you get stranded like I did.

Really good price for the fix it does. Had to struggle a bit to get it in where it was needed, but was worth in the end. Been running it for more 3 weeks. It is still holding up good. So is a good purchase in my opinion.
