Tons of Fun, Even with a Broken Dart
The media could not be loaded. ***Update: the seller sent me some extra darts, so I’m changing from 4 to 5 stars. Excellent customer service and a fun family game! This dartboard has been a huge hit with my family! The board itself is sturdy and well-made, and it’s become a go-to activity for everyone. Unfortunately, one of the darts was broken right out of the box, which was a bit disappointing. That said, it hasn’t stopped us from having a great time. What We Loved:• Sturdy and High Quality: The board feels durable, and the bullseye and wire setup are spot-on.• Family Fun: It’s easy to set up, and we’ve been having a blast playing together—it’s brought out our competitive sides! What Could Be Better:• One of the included darts was broken when we opened the package. It’s not a dealbreaker, but a bit of a letdown for something brand new.Overall, the dartboard itself is excellent and has provided hours of fun for my family. We’ll likely get some new darts soon to keep the games going!

Great dart board that looks professional
This dart board is solid! So heavy and sturdy! Looks just like an official board. Comes with darts as well. Easy to hang as long as you have somewhere solid to hang it up!

One of the Best, for a Great Price
I did some research before buying a dartboard to make sure I didn't end up buying a cheap piece of junk that I was just going to have to replace after a few games. I learned right away that sisal fibre or "bristle" boards are better than the old "cork" boards that were common when I was a kid. I noticed that the Viper Shot King was consistently rated as one of the best, but I wasn't sure at first because, compared to some of the other recommended boards, the Viking has a much lower price. But since the reviews were mostly positive, I went ahead and bought one, and I've played almost every day since I hung it on my carport wall about two weeks ago.The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was the weight. This board is packed with lots of fibre that makes for a consistent surface tension. The wire ring with the numbers is movable so that the board can be rotated periodically to get an even wear, while making sure that the 20 is always in the 12 o'clock position like it's supposed to be.To install it, a bracket mounts on the wall -- or like I did, on a 3ft. X 3ft. square piece of plywood to protect the wall from getting holes all over it -- and then a screw goes right in the center of the back of the board to hang from the bracket (so that the board can be rotated). It includes three spacers to make an even gap between the mounting surface and the back of the board. Once the depth of the center screw is adjusted to make sure the board doesn't rotate too loosely, it's ready to go.On the front, the wiring is attached very tightly and evenly to the board, using as few staples as possible. The wire around the single (green) bull has no staples, and the double (red) bull has its own separate metal ring, made to taper to a sharp front edge. The playing surface is smooth, the painted sections are very bright, and they are evenly sized and proportioned. The board I bought came with 2 sets of darts that are fairly well made, but they're a bit too light for players like me who prefer heavier barrels. The shafts, however, are not very well made, so I changed them on the first day, but kept the original red and black flights, which have the Viper name on them. I use those darts for friends who prefer to play with lighter darts, so it's nice to have them.Considering that it is priced at least 20 dollars less than other quality boards this is, without a doubt, one of the best official competition size (18 inch) dart boards you can get. The mounting hardware is made from decent quality materials, and the installation is simple but effective. The ability to rotate the board so that the playing surface wears evenly makes for a longer product life. The playing area is very well crafted, and it is so well assembled that the wiring lines up perfectly with the edge of every section.I'm very happy with my Viper Shot King, and I've recommended it to all my friends. Before buying it, it had been years since I played darts, and having it now has made me rediscover the game. I had forgotten how much fun it is!

Good
Great board over-all, high quality, would of been nice if it was a staple free design for the price. The board is better quality than most for the same price range. The darts that come with the board are fine, but the shafts are complete garabage(order a 5$ set of aluminum shafts and just change the shafts and you have yourself some good darts for playing with friends), you will break the shafts on the free darts it comes with (they are really bad plastic) so just save yourself the trouble of digging out the broken shaft and buy some 5$ shafts with the board. The Board is holding up well and I can say we have abused the hell out of it (we get drunk and throw the darts around really rough at the board), the bristles are staying very compacted, the dull darts have "hooked" some strands out, but nothing too serious... and again for 20$ its no big deal. The board was good enough to me that I purchased one for a friend also as a gift, (for 20$ I thought it made an awesome gift).Nothing much else to say.Since the board is soo affordable, I was able to purchase a dry erase board for 25$ with it (spending a total of about 55$ between the board, the dry erase board darts (I bought extras and shafts).... 55~60$ with delivery... pretty good price... worth the money we have already tossed atleast 1000 darts at the board each between me and my friends, and I can safely say that it will take another 4~5000 darts no problem if you keep "rotating the board" by removing the points ring (it snaps on and off) and rotating the positions every few degrees lowering the wear on key numbers (20 ~ 15) for us since we play a lot of cricket.Good buy, I would suggest anyone looking for a good "fun" board to play with friends look no further than this board and at 20~25$ its a good price compared to other boards that can run anywhere from 40 ~ 90$.
