This fit my garage door perfectly. It worked with 2 srews in the top of the hinge, and worked with the 2 top rail screws.. I literally only had to unclip a coder pin remove the 4 screws, then place the bracket in place and replace the original screws/bts.. and I used the new pin and clip to attach my garage door opener arm.. easy peesy..

This is a great part.With kids home in past year the garage door has been used more each day. Which showed me the weakest point in the system. Which is the garage door opener mounting bracket and short screws. Install was easy with some small modifications.I added pre drilled holes in the main body of this bracket, then added three extra self tapping screws. Now bracket is mounted across 21 inch area. I have confidence this will never pull screws out like the smaller original opener mount.This part comes with a new cross pin and circle clip to attach the garage door opener arm. I used this included new pin but used old retainer clip instead of the included circle retainer. I also added four small washers on this new pin to remove side to side play of the garage door arm in the new bracket. Total time 30 minutes. If you know where your tools, screws and washers are?All great now on first door. Now I have to do this to the second garage door.Hey Garage door opener companies are you listening?Because this is the type of bracket that should be included with your new openers! Not the old style little one.Or instructions should warn installers about use on insulated garage doors with smaller bracket use.My doors are just over one year old and the door openers were installed at same time by me with opener supplied parts.

One of the best items I've purchased this year. Much more robust that original bracket. Very easy to install.

I had a bad strut on the top panel and needed some support. It wasn’t difficult to install and did it’s job adding the additional support to allow me open the door

This part saved me an expensive service call. All garage doors should use this part from the factory. After 20 years the original part broke and the mounting screws pulled out if the door. The new part fit with no modification and is a perfect solution. Highly recommended.

As you can see from the pictures, the original bracket is the one that comes with most garage door openers. However, don't think it's designed for insulated doors. So somebody tried to BEEF it up. Failed attempt. This bracket is a direct bolt on and works perfectly.

I was not able to use my garage old one fell apart, new came almost the next day. I'm able to use my garage again. Thanks

Sturdy bracket, however it did not come with screws. I guess they feel you can use the existing ones that come with the garage kit.
