Jacquard Professional Screen Print Ink, Water-Soluable, 4oz Jar, Opaque Red (126)

I can only hope I got a bad batch but this ink (opaque red) is terrible. Mine showed up with the consistency of chewed bubble gum that had been hardening on a sidewalk. I half unscrewed the cap and the ink that had attached itself to the bottom of the lid was so rubbery that it turned the lid a half turn closed. When I tried to scoop out a small amount to do a test print, most of the ink came out in one clump. Once on my screen, the ink was so thick I could feel the screen trying to move with it as I dragged the squeegee (quite forcefully due to how thick it was). I’ll try adding a small amount of water tomorrow to see if that helps but that’s an extra step that shouldn’t be needed for any product that labels itself professional. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on Permaset Supercover, heck, even Speedball is better.

Just what I was hoping for, good strong color on a black shirt.

A little to thick and took longer to dry, other than that is was good.

Thick and covers over black very well. I only needed one coat. Washes up with soap and water.
