Amazing
I’ve been manually grinding coffee for a year and decided to upgrade. Now I cannot be happier with the result. The machine grinds your beans into a wide range, very coarse to very fine.

Fully featured but very poor quality
Stripped a gear after 1 month of very light usage. I’m guessing those that last long are mostly grinding at the coarse setting and with dark roast beans. If you want light roast espresso then avoid this one at all costs! That, and the fact that it’s not close to being consistent and has a somewhat inaccurate and fiddly grind control. Other than that it’s actually fully featured and convenient.. when it works.

If you’re looking for a quality grinder for moka, v60, or French press, this is a great purchase. It’s simple to use out of the box, and the grind settings offer a great range which means you’re not going to have to spend too long dialling in for the right coarseness. It is a well-rounder grinder and you can use this for pulling espresso shots, but you’re not going to get the highest quality shot. It’s going to be drinkable, but don’t expect it to match the Niche Zero. The machine isn’t really designed for single dose espresso shots. If you’ll pulling shots for milk drinks they you’ll get a great coffee with ease. I’ve had very little problems with grind retention, and grinding for v60 I’m getting 20g in, 20g out. It is definitely worth cleaning ever 2-4 weeks this will affect how much retention you are getting, and also the flavour. You don’t want old bitter beans of a different grind in your coffee. The cleaning is a little bit awkward for as some of the parts a held it very securely and being plastic, they don’t feel as robust as I’d like. It’s a well made, easy to use machine that will get you great coffee across all ranges.

It comes with a UK plug instead of European so you are going to need an adapter.

Love this grinder. Bought an espresso machine and got ground coffee from a supermarket. I didn't really enjoy the coffee so decided to go for a grinder and this was a great decision and a great choice of grinder. I ordered fresh coffee beans from a coffee roaster , and difference is amazing from supermarket coffee. Coffee is amazing. Beans weren't as expensive as you would think. It was a bit of trial and error for a week or 2 but when you get it right it is worth every penny. Easy to use and clean. It has a timer and 60 settings on neck of grinder , and also can adjust from inside for fine adjustments. I got mine just in time as it went up £60 in price a week later. Best purchase I have made in a long time, along with the espresso machine. They work well together.

I got this because it can grind from espresso fine to very coarse. Okay, purists will say the espresso is only fine enough for a machine with a pressurised portafilter, but that's as fancy as I'm likely to get. The main thing is I can also grind coarse enough for a pour-over or pretty much anything else. It's not 'cheap' but I consider it decent value for a good standard of grinding. In operation, it's pretty quiet and very simple. You either keep the button pressed until you have enough coffee or set the timer and press the button once. If you keep changing the grind size, you'll have to keep recalibrating the timer. And in fact after a few weeks of use, I've realised the timer is inconsistent and not to be trusted – I get better results just counting to ten in my head and pressing the button manually. The bean hopper is sealed so okay to store a reasonable quantity for daily use. You can insert two sizes of portafilter (adapters are in a compartment in the base where there are other tools) or use a dosing cup. Or just a regular cup if you're not fancy. Adjusting the grind size couldn't be easier – you just twist the whole of the hopper – and there are about 40 settings. Well, one thing could be easier – seeing the number you're setting it to is quite tricky because of the the reflective surface. The construction is very neat, but the overall effect of the the grinder, though quite stylish, is that it is built to a price. Cleaning is easy (static does cause mess – though it seems to get less over time) and the machine is pleasantly compact. I don't like the loud hum the transformer makes but it does remind you to switch off at the socket. I moved up from a Hario hand grinder and not only is this vastly quicker and easier (I was getting sick of hand grinding), you can really taste the difference. I was actually surprised by how much better my coffee tasted using this instead of the hand grinder. So overall I'm mostly happy with my purchase as somebody who's serious about coffee, but not in the obsessive category.

At last I found a coffee grinder that actually grinds the beans correctly. I've tried cheaper machines but they failed to grind the beans to achieve the correct results for expresso. They were adequate for French press coffee, but even then because the grind was "rough" you didn't get the best flavour from the beans. Some may disagree with spending as much on this machine, but if your wanting the best tasting coffee its worth it. From the first grind for expresso it identified the poor performance of the other grinders with the beans being uniformly ground. Our coffee has much improved thanks to this grinder.
