Great consistency in hardness and holding up really well
I am not even close to a professional ping pong player so I can't speak to how these balls would hold up to that use. That said, we have a standard sized ping pong table in our rec room and have tried several different brands of ping pong balls over the last year or so and so far these have been our favorite. We started out at first with really bad ones where the white powder on the balls would actually come off on the rubber of the paddle and the balls didn't even bounce (returned those ones!) then we moved to a more expensive brand of #2 ping pong balls from a big name in sports equipment, and while those ones were perfectly usable the first 10-15 games we found they started to develop a "dead bounce" after a while and would end up shooting off in crazy directions. We figured that was just how it was when buying #2 ping pong balls (slightly lesser quality), but when we switched again to a #3 in the the same brand as the #2 balls we realized they were so hard that they ended up giving us too much speed for the small room we have to play in. Then on an impulse I grabbed these Butterfly training balls because they were an add-on item at a good price and worth trying since Butterfly is such a well known and very quality brand. So glad I grabbed them! They seem to have a hardness and speed somewhere between the #2 and #3 balls but we've actually been playing with the first ball we took out of the package for almost a month now and haven't noticed it getting beat up or showing any inconsistency in the bounce. I can't imagine switching to anything else at this point.

Good Quality!
Great for rallying and very durable. Never buy other cheaper non famous brands. This price is perfect for practicing training and rallying.

Not "legal"
I bought these for a table tennis league. Found out they weren't "legal" because they are not seamless. Play well otherwise - good for practice.

Good practice ball
These are on the heavy side, quite durable and very good for practice. So the description was accurate. I like them quite a bit and had fun playing.

Quality balls with lots of Bounce
I got these as cat toys and they are great. I've gotten other cheap ping pong balls for cat toys as well and they sufficed for that purpose but had I been buying them for table tennis would have been very disappointed since they had flat, uneven bounces. These balls were engineered correctly with quality material for a good game of ping pong.

reasonable price and robust quality table tennis balls
made in Germany, these are the practice balls used at Lily Yips Table tennis club in Dunellen NJ, which is probably one of the best places to practice or learn the basics of table tennis. The Alguetti brothers practice and coach there (although I think that they use Xushaofa or Nittaku balls in there own tournament practice sessions). For great exercise (mostly non-impact) and increased flexibility, learn to play!!

Durable, quality balls
These balls are great to use for anything. Unlike joola two star training balls, I feel that these are consistent, stronger, and overall nicer ball. Of coarse not 3 star level. Only buy this if u plan to do real training. If you intend to play games just buy some three stars for the serious and one star for the casual.

Not worth it vs. some much cheaper options
I do not think these play better than the much, much lower price "3 star" "practice" balls available on Amazon; Kevenz or Mapol brand, both 50 packs, the Kevenz are the better ones. Better yet, the Stiga 3 star balls are very good, but to be fair they are more expensive than these Butterfly balls. I would purchase one of those aforementioned 50 pack brand balls instead of these, or spend a little more for the Stiga balls.

Not stable
Someone in my club advised me do not buy but I would like to try since it's made in Germany and looks like similar to G40+. What a ball virtually you cannot use. Worse than any other brands. So it would be garbage.
