Lots of good concepts
The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success have a lot of good concepts to carry the listener through to the approximately hour-long recording on each of two CDs. Chopra talks about developing detachment as a way to obtain the best out of life. One of the many concepts he talks briefly about is that attachment to money will not bring about security and happiness. He doesn't go into too much detail about each of the concepts because then we'd be buying 100 CDs. He does a good job of pulling the important complicated concepts and putting them into everyday words so that I understand what he's talking about. This CD has a lot of philosophical, abstract concepts, so I listen to it over and over to digest and apply the concepts. In terms of a practical point of view, Chopra's diction is clear and his presentation is neat and well organized.Overall, I think this CD is worth the cost.

Lacks the quantity of reviews other self-improvement books have, but it shouldn't. Chopra is one of the greats in my opinion
Read the other 5-star reviews, they pretty much emulate my feelings.Bought this as a gift for my girlfriend who is in to the "Laws of Attraction," "The Secret," "The New Thought Movement," "The Power of Positive Thinking" philosophy and mindset. The CD comes organized with a pretty CD case that appeals to her, and the message is on par with Napolean Hills "The Keys to Success" and "Think and Grow Rich." It's kind of short, but the message is relevant. He's one of my favorite speakers.

always love Deepak
I love to listen to Deepak Chopra, not so much as to what he says, but for the mere sound of his voice. I always get something to enhance my life from a book or CD. In this CD, I knew much of what he was talking about from previous books. However, I did get some new perspectives and this makes me happy. Often, if I am restless at night or wake up for some reason or another, I listen to Deepak and invariably go back to dreamland. I think that people who accuse Deepak of quackery really miss the point.

Of course it's all true, but...
After reading his more recent "Secrets" book, I had high hopes for this illeged seminal work. Perhaps, but it was more like an outline in terms of depth of content. Furthermore, as a fan of Tolle and all of his works, I found myself constantly in conflict with Chopra's premise that we need to adhere to "Seven" Spiritual Laws to attain success. This flies in the face of Tolles admonition that we needn't subscribe to notions of placing "something" between now and enlightenment - rather he directs us to realise we already have everything we need to be there already - to be there "Now". Chopra loves his lists of steps as he employs them throughout his writings. Of course, it does appeal to my logical mind, and one does feel like they come away with something to on which to hang one's hat. Ultimatley, there is some overlap between Tolle and Chopra with Chopra tending to be a bit more connected with the actual world (I'm not saying that's necessarily a good thing). I confess I did find myself racing to listen to my Tolle's CDs and was quickly placed at ease with his natural, super simple presentation. Of course, everything Chopra prescribes is absolutely true, but I just wish it was a bit less arduous to listen to. When asked what time it is, Chopra will tell you how to build a watch - Tolle will just point to the sky and say nothing. The latter will be far more accurate - in every way.

Many pearls of wisdom. Spirituality and Religion are two ...
Many pearls of wisdom. Spirituality and Religion are two very different things. Whatever your faith or belief may be will only be enriched by Dr. Chopra's perspective. I have put these principles to practice and my mental life has changed exponentially. The Principle of "What we think is who we are" is just as important as "What we eat is what we are."

It never gets old
These teachings (reminders) are gentle and strong and ring true each time I listen. It has taken several listenings to absorb what Deepak is saying because none of this is "baby talk". This man really wants you to re-learn how to have a great life and encourages you to share and freely give without fear. These CDs are a bargain at any cost.
