DE1607 Engine Enamel Spray Paint with Ceramic - Chevrolet Orange Red - 12 oz Aerosol Can

I've been using Dupli-Color spray paint for several years now. The key is to prep the surface with proper sanding, a coat of Dupli-Color primer, and more sanding. I then remove all finger prints and grease with good sponge, a solution of warm water and Dawn dishwashing liquid. Be sure to rinse afterwards. Simply dry the surface between coatings - a hairdryer works wonders. Using nitrile gloves is a great idea to prevent fish eyes (blemishes) on the paint surface. You'll love this paint if you take the time to prep the surface and be patient while applying thin layers at a time.

I used this paint specifically for tools. Ridgid pipe wrenches and more. I was impressed with the results. Excellent coverage. Tools look new.

Before you do anything, make sure you prepare the area around where you are going to paint. Over spray is not the cans fault. This product goes on smooth and easy. Make sure all grease and rust is removed before you do anything. Wire brush , wire wheel, get rid of any rust flakes or grease marks. Once this is done, clean with a good solvent and let dry. Spray evenly and the finish will amaze you. If needed do it twice after letting fiorst coat dry completely

This is a really good, tough paint. However I did bake it at 250 for a while. Far better than other paints I have tried this process with. I painted suspension parts with it and during handling (like installing bearings and assembly) it has not easily chipped or been damaged.

Repainting my 67 327, color is perfect match from what it was.

used for an putdoor 1957 chevy concrete statue! red can be so difficult - requiring many coats in my experience but one can pulled off the job. i included a photo- the statue is about 2' square and weighs 100+

I've had this tool before, but after 25 years of misuse it needed a vacation. The new one is a welcome tool.
