Riedel Vinum Water

I’ve been using these Reidel “water glasses” for years as a wine glass and I highly recommend them. I’m not a wine connoisseur — I only drink inexpensive Merlot with dinner — so there may be good reasons for all the different typeso of wine glasses that enhance certain wine types, but for me, these are fine. They are beautifully made, easy to sip from, easy to wash, and with just a bit of careful handling, tough enough for repeated daily use.

I have plenty of water glasses. Who doesn't? But when I paired up my sturdy everyday water glasses with my fine china for Easter dinner, I realized I needed more than chunky hard-to-spill glass. My children are all grown - no need for that any more! After browsing different brands, my husband suggested these water goblets. They matched our wine glasses and held a nice amount of water. The glasses come in sets of two (helpful, I guess, if you need to replace just one or two) but my order of ten were all shipped together. The goblets are probably a little heavier than Riedel wine glasses but have a shorter handle and a wider "cup." Very attractive and easy to handle!

I bought these because some fancy restaurant in New York said they were great wine glasses. They are very thin and fragile. The actual capacity is about 8oz not 12+--so not a very big water glass. They would do for a smidge of white wine. I do like how they look, with the short stem. I wil keep and be happy that I did not order more. Update-I was wrong. Not as small as they look, nor as fragile. I have been using these glasses regularly and like them way more than I thought I would. I also discovered that there is a larger sized of the same type-purchased those too.

Extremely highly quality, large bowl and thin rim. Dishwasher safe which is a plus for me. A glass that will impress your guests abd enhance your wine drinking experience.

Beautiful glasses, perfectly sized, not too large or too small. The simple styling allows them to formal or casual. The are quite thin and delicate, very nice quality.

Very happy with these glasses. I use them for white wine and the short stem works well for every day use. Like these so much I intend to order more

I like these glasses very much. But they are very fragile and thin-walled. One must be very careful washing and drying.

The glasses arrived in a timely manner. They were packed nicely and arrived in excellent condition. I will say that the description mentioned these were sturdy enough for every day use, but I find that the glass is somewhat thin and I would be afraid to use them every day.

This is my 3rd purchase of these glasses. I bought them on the recommendation of Bon Appetite magazine who said that if you could have only one wine glass, this is it. Not as big and airy as a big Burgundy glass but it does the job universally and great for the summer outdoors. Top Quality. For Port?
