I have been using this for almost 2 weeks and it has definitely helped my beard look healthier without being greasy!I bought the kit because I was look for an oil/balm and for the price I had to try it. All the extras are a welcomed gift!Shampoo/conditioner are great. The shampoo lathers really nice and leaves things feeling clean. The conditioner definitely helps moisturize as stated. (Both are scentless)Oil - works good not super greasy and works in evenly, 3-5 drops is all you need depending on beard length (scentless)Balm - Great smell, with a very smooth consitancey, I have tried some other brands that are gritty/ clumpy and this is neither! I was I could buy just the balm! (Sandlewood scent)Straight razor (shavette) w/ 2 blades - works good, very sharp. I do wish it came with more than 2 blades but I do have a couple real straight razors. (If you buy this kit chances are you wont really be shaving so the blade should last awhile for cleaning up around your beard)Comb- great wooden comb that comes with the kit! I don't use any other combs anymore.Brush - very nice brush that I would assume is boars hair, works very well although the bristles could be alittle stiffer. None the less, still a great brush!Scissors - seem to be very hefty and sharp, works well for trimming your mustache or flyaways.Straightener - works but not as great as I would have thought (maybe I'm doing it wrong as I have never straightened my beard before). I did not by the kit for the straightener so either way it was a welcomed addition.Overall the kit is a great and well worth the value at less than $30 shipped. I would definitely buy again!

I like the beard straightener, it heats up quickly, like advertised, but there are no instructions to tell you which setting is low heat and which is high heat. The brush and comb seem to be of quality construction, I’m no authority. The shampoo and conditioner are ok, don’t really know what the quality of these are either, again, not an authority. I like the beard oil and beard balm. I like how these feel on the beard and how the beard stays put after using.I can’t see me using the straight razor so I won’t comment on it.The scissors are junk, very cheep and pulls the hair rather than cut the hair. Overall a decent kit to start with if you’re just starting out.The e-book is also junk. Doesn’t tell you anything as far as grooming your beard but sure let’s you know what beard styles are out there, it gives you that information twice, I guess because they had to fill the book with something. As far as I’m concerned, the book was a complete waste, sad, very sad.

This is a decent gift set for anyone looking to groom their beard. I suppose I'll go ahead and talk briefly about the included items:- The beard straightener is cool, but I worry that it may do more harm than good if you aren't careful with it. I have burned myself a few times using it.- The beard oil isn't exactly the best but it does the job. It's very runny and has a strange odor.- The wash and conditioner are pretty good, and the smell is pretty mild. The conditioner in particular is thicker than typical conditioners.- The beard balm smells nice and works as expected. But there are higher quality balms out there.- The brush is a bit rigid and rough but honestly can't complain for the price.- The comb is a standard two-size beard comb I see included in a lot of these gift kits. It does the job.- The scissors are your typical blunt edge grooming scissors, no complaints so far.- The barber razor is pretty cheap feeling, and the included blades are flimsy and dull.

Excellent price and greater value

Got this for my husband for Father's Day and he loved it. The products smell great and the beard straightener works great.
