I tried this rice for the first time today. I cooked it the microwave using a 1 Cup Rice to 3 Cups Water (1:3) ratio on high and uncovered for 27 minutes. I added 1/2 a stick of butter to the rice & water before cooking. The rice is delicious! I've since used it in my chicken curry and my picky wife loves it too. I am somewhat skeptical about the net 0 carbs of this product. But it is good stuff.

I had to give up eating all grains because of the inflammation they cause in my system. Wild rice is a grass seed, so I can eat and be sure I can be satisfied. This is a superb side or main dish. I love wild rice with its nutty flavor. I love adding fresh sage and toasted nuts. Almonds or pine nuts will add an extra layer of flavorful depth to any meal. I will be ordering from this company again!

I was concerned that this particular wild rice was confused with the "black rice" which is quite popular. Being diabetic with a sensitivity to wheat and any form of glutinous rice, I have been seeking ANYthing to help fill the "starchy" side of my diet but not raise my blood sugar to the lofty heights which any form of rice, white or brown, previously had done. Last night I tested it by simmering it in low sodium chicken stock (1/2 cup to 1.5 cups of stock) and some diced veggies for a side dish for 50 minutes. It was absolutely delicious AND my blood sugar stayed within normal ranges. I am truly happy to have found something I can enjoy in a world filled with so many things I cannot eat.

Excellent stuff! I soaked mines for an hour or so and that help to prevent splitting. Great flavor. Try it sautéd with mushrooms and onions; Umami Bomb!!!

Awesome good flavor and consistency! Really fine stuff. This is very hearty and extremely tasty rice. Full of extra minerals and all kinds of good stuff that you won't find in regular rice. We love this. Its worth every penny. Make sure you cook it nice and long to make it soft. YUMMY!

great wild rice! We usually mix it with the regular long-grain rice. Note: wild rice can be a bit chewy so we add a bit more water to the rice cooker than normal, just a tad more than what you would normally use for long grain brown rice and it comes out perfect. This is good rice, have purchased it a few times and getting to buy it again (almost out).

Great wild rice at a great price. I love wild rice! Great in soups...makes great healthy salads...best rice casseroles. Yum! Great nutty flavor. I usually soak a cup in cold water over night or at least 8 hours before cooking.
