If you’re looking to replace your Ektorp covers, these are the ones to get! I had the white Ektorps from IKEA for almost 4 years and when I decided to get new ones they didn’t make them anymore. Grr. If you’re considering the IKEA Upland covers for your Ektorp couches—don’t bother. They are too big and the material is thin and cheap-feeling. But these replacement covers are a PERFECT fit. The material is thick like the original. I can’t speak for how they’ll hold up in the wash. I used to wash my Ektorps 3x a year and they held up wonderfully! Maybe there’s another review with that info.

I don’t usually write product reviews, but this slipcover absolutely deserves one. I’ve had this same Ektorp armchair/couch set for at least 12 years, and have gone through MANY slipcovers. We still love the furniture and were dismayed to find out that IKEA had discontinued the product line/slipcovers, because (with a handful of kids, dogs, cats, snow, mud, fireplace ash) we literally cannot keep furniture clean unless it’s slipcovered. We were starting to wonder if we’d finally have to replace our entire Ektorp set - but then I found these covers and OMG THESE ARE INCREDIBLE. Great fabric, very soft but also seems very sturdy (I’m a seamstress and am picky about fabric). The covers look high quality, and go on MUCH easier than the Ikea covers, due to a teeny bit of stretch in the fabric and a slightly generous cut. Color is definitely a lovely “jersey” gray but this isn’t jersey fabric. I started with the chair and have ordered the couch cover and ottoman covers as well. I’ve only added a few stars for durability because I’m not sure of that yet, but so far would give this cover a 100%.

The blue slipcover is very well made of a good, durable fabric. The cover actually looks much better than the online photos. I am quite pleased with the look, quality, and fit of this product. My cocker spaniel puppy had destroyed the non-woven fabric (under the cushions) of the Ikea cover. After shopping for professionally made slipcovers locally ($$$), I turned to Amazon. My pup hasn’t even snagged a thread, and that’s not because she’s suddenly calm. 🙄Honestly, I could not be more pleased; Ikea needs to hire this manufacturer!

It didn’t come with the wash instructions and fabric type (cotton or/and polyester composition). But it seems to have a very good quality.
