Honestly for refurbished this is AMAZING! Started up immediately, had a few updates and is ready to go. Runs amazing, great battery life, perfect screen and keyboard (although caps lock does stick sometimes,,), and its sleek and light which I’m loving.

Just received this laptop and I was so excited once it was delivered; upon unboxing and doing my setup, the computer would NOT start up until I plugged the charger in. After I plugged the charger in, the laptop restarted TWICE on its own! The charger then got scorching HOT as if it was about to light a fire and I had to quickly unplug the charger. Then I began to do the standard laptop setup (country, WiFi, password, etc.) and the next screen had some sort of PHISING STATEMENT for some sort of “United Community School” that would be managing access to all of my computer activities. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!!!!!! It read SCAM to me so I called Amazon and reported this fraudulent purchase/activity and will be RETURNING this laptop a.k.a HUGE CHUNK OF SCRAP METAL, back to seller that I absolutely WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! This is for the safety and protection of your privacy!

I got this for my son for Christmas because he starting college in January. He loves it. He was super excited to have a MacBook and he is enjoying every minute of it. I recommend this product if you’re looking for a laptop 10 out of ten.

UPDATE: Not sure why but after 3 days I was able to get Sims 4 downloaded onto it. It still has some issues with overheating & battery but other than that so far so good. I only bought for sims 4 & it doesn’t work. It won’t load the EA page & even after trying Steam & Origin it will not work. I will say the packaging it came in was great, bubble wrapped & the charger was wrapped. The keyboard lights up but barely. There was some small scratches & one of the corners was dented up pretty good but the inside of it was in great condition, the screen, keyboard, touch pad, etc. The battery/bottom of the laptop gets extremely hot after only 5 minutes of being on. The battery will show its dead but after charging it a few minutes it will say fully charged then die again after 1-2hours, so I'm not sure if thats a glitch or what’s going on with that. Overall I’m sure it would work great for google searches or watching movies if that’s your thing but i can use my phone for all of that. I would rather send back & invest in a dell/HP or other device i know works great. My whole ecosystem is Apple except my laptops & i am reminded with this purchase as to why that is. I’m so sad, I really wanted to love this product, I had it in my cart for months.

Mac Book Air arrived very quickly. The box was in perfect condition. Upon opening said box I was pleased with product being in good shape. The Mac Boom Air did come with a charger as well

My computer works great! I thought that it was going to be bad for $160. But it is incredible!! Everyone told me not to buy one that is the cheapest. But it had the best reviews. 10/10!

I was so nervous to purchase this due to the reviews! It was 50/50 on good and bad reviews! Most people had an issue with screen, charging, not updating or not being turned on! But mine works great! It does a a few little scratches but that’s expected with a preowned item! I did have an issue setting up the computer with my Apple ID! It wouldn’t let me agree to the terms and conditions! But watched a 2 minute video and got it figured out with no issues! As soon as I got that solved the computer immediately updated! Which was great! I was also concerned about that! But for what it’s worth and the experience I had I think it’s definitely worth the gamble! All in all great buy and great computer for the price! I hope this helps!
