Theres a formula for this, or tou can turn the adapter to a 90* angle to the torque wrench and no converaion is needed. Google it for more info if needed

I am not familiar with the 4.9 six cylinder, is that all metric or SAE? The tool has 1/2 and 9/16 ends, if the distributor hold down on the six cylinder is one of those sizes it should fit and work.
