Q: Can this tool be used for plastic rivets or not? Another customer asked the same question but not answered, if not item description should be updated.

I don't know either. I would not buu this tool. It is poorly made and not worth the $. I returned it and purchased an American made rivet gun that worked.

It comes with its own rivets but I do believe it can be used for both

Q: the rivet is stuck in gun. How do I release the metal pin?

This tool is a junk, the rivet get stuck and I tried to follow the instructions but the three rivet holder inside won’t even open, I tried with pliers and it won’t even move, this is the second time I tried and my return window is closed. Would not recommend to anyone. I am going to put a review for this item.
