Well, it cost a lot in my opinion but it does what it is supposed to do with ease. It doesn’t matter if the tomato is firm or soft. It cuts through it like butter and with little pressure needed. Love it. Makes my Bruschetta making way easier!

I had a wooden-handled version of this knife for 20 years or more, and like all wooden handles, it eventually started warping and looking disgraceful. The superb blade was unaffected, so I wanted a new one. Prices for these Wusthof tomato knives are very variable -- this is the best I have found. The hard rubber handle should last years, and the blade, of course, is tops. Highly recommended.

Ottimo coltello per affettare alimenti di base acida che rovinerebbero le lame a filo liscio, costoso ma molto ben curato.

These knives aren't average, they are made of steel that actually holds sharpness, it's comfortable to use for a long time, it can slice very thinly which is wonderful! I highly recommend it, and my wife treats these as her special knives in the kitchen!
