It worked like a charm! Fast and painless. I thought I would need to use a lot of effort to cut the tag but it was easy.

Easiest way to remove ear tags
I have 2 pet highlands that had ear tags. I don't like the look of them and since the highlands aren't going anywhere, tags were not necessary. This ear tag removal tool made it very easy to safely remove the tags without injury to the cattle or myself. So easy that on one of them, I didn't even have to put a halter on him, just gave him some hay, popped this tool around the base of the tag and with a gentle pull, the tag was off.
