Amazon Basics Car Sound Deadening Mat, 9.8″ x 15.7″, 34-Piece

I bought this for my class c motor home. It is a ford E-450. Large engine, large vehicle, that makes a lot of noise. I applied this product to the bare metal floors, behind the engine enclosure, and in the doors. What a difference in the noise level this stuff made. Highly recommend! Very sticky, just the right thickness, and easy to install.

Bought this to help with some door rattling in my 2018 Subaru Outback. My front doors rattled every time I closed them, but also when my stereo was turned up. Found that the seal between the crossbar and the door panels had failed, so after patching those up, I added some of these panels to help with the sound deadening aspect. My doors now sound solid as a rock when closing them, and the sound quality of my speakers has greatly improved too!Decided to do all 4 doors with this, and since I got the bigger package I continued and did the rear spare tire area as well as under the rear seat... and I've noticed the road noise has been cut down drastically! Want to do the rest of the car, but going to wait until the temperature come down again.On the advice of other reviews, I bought some rollers to help install these panels, and I'm very glad I did. Made installation much easier and more secure.If you are on the fence about getting these (and dont mind the color or put it where they won't be visible) them go ahead and order them! You will be happy with the results!

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the Amazon Basics Car Sound Deadener performs. It works exactly as advertised and delivers results that are just as good as the more expensive name brands. Installation was straightforward, and the improvement in road noise and vibration was immediately noticeable in my car and I used it on a panel in a CNC project of mine, and it removed an annoying vibration.If you're looking for an effective and budget-friendly sound-deadening option, this one is definitely worth considering. Great performance without the premium price tag.

Good stuff. Quality is great and is easy to put on. It makes a big difference in noise reduction and the product don’s have any smell at all. I would definitely purchase some more for my other car.

Works great for the money. Made my trucks sound system a lot cleaner quality and got rid of unwanted rattles. Adhesive could be a little better but overall it’s a great value.

This stuff will reduce road noise in your vehicle. I bought the nine piece kit which had bigger pieces of material which was perfect for what I had in mind. It is of the same quality as the more expensive brands but went on just as well and didn’t have that tar smell or whatever you’d call it. The box was just as heavy as a box of 80 mill from another company. Me personally, I did t want the inside of my car blue with Amazon written all over it so I bought one of these kits to use as the base layer and then out the other (more appealing) deadener on top. Some people choose not to layer when they sound dampen… I will always put down multiple layers. For the price of everything I got, I figured might as well go big or not at all. So I bought over 100 square foot in total of 3 different kinds of sound deadener. It may not look as good as the other stuff, but it is probably better if you’re on a budget and you don’t mind the blue or the Amazon basics written everywhere on it. Keeps heat out and cool air in. Looks wise, it isn’t for me but for the price I was gonna buy a lot more. Just make sure you read the description of the kit that you buy. Two of them, the more expensive ones, are the ones you wanna buy. The other kit is only enough to cover like 1450 square inches as opposed to 36 square foot. But some one you will in fact still buy it just because the price difference and think youve won. So don’t say you weren’t warned

Great value for the quantity, the aluminium backing is great, and the rubber is sticky enough for me to place it before rolling the mat. It doesn't have any funky smell, it just smells like rubber. If you like the colour blue (even if you are never going to see it), they look nice. The material is thick enough to kill the rattle noise of my panels, and they are easy to work with. I don't know how long they should last, but I'll change my review if I have any problems with it.

Installed the deadening on the back wall of my truck. Easy to work with and at great price. My Sub sounds cleaner and much better too. Just need to my doors and will be good to go.
