I'd give it 10 stars if I could
The chipper started on the first pull with every start and ran perfectly. I chopped up a huge pile of brush. I love the large and long feeding chute and that it sends the chips out in the same direction as the brush goes in. I can fit up to 3", but it's best not to chip anything more than 2". If you feed it too quickly, especially with large pieces it will stall out. It is a fantastic machine, especially for that price range. It was easy to assemble. It's very easy to maneuver and it's small enough that it doesn't take up much storage space. When I ordered this on September 4th 2023 I thought it was listed as $439. The invoice price was $470. Today, October 2nd 2023 it is now listed as $699. That seems like an awfully big price jump in such a short time. Maybe the price of the unit varies according to availability. It's now October of 2024 and I still love this little chipper. I've put loads of brush through it. It still starts on the first pull and runs fantastic. The only issue is the welds on the muffler broke so now the muffler wobbles around on the top of the muffler pipe. It's a great machine for the price and I highly recommend it.

Great little chipper, but do not expect miracles
I bought this chipper when I moved into a +1 acre property with a lot of wild vegetations. I used this chipper on various size branches. Overall, it gets the job done. I have reduced small mountains of branches to small piles of mulch. However, it can get easily overloaded. Branches in the range of 1-1.5 inches (or less) passes through easily enough. If there is a lot of foliage, the funnel may get clogged, and it helps to have a thick branch to force through throw the clog. Branches of 2" need to be fed in a little at a time; push in a little then let the motor recover, then a little more. Anything over 2" is best disposed of in some other way. After a couple of hours, be ready to take the funnel off and sharpen the blades, while thick, they will not last forever, especially on thick hard wood. One pleasant surprise, is how well this thing mulches palm leaves; it chews up the center stem and spits out the leave, which are easily decay once separated.

Easy to assemble. Started on the first pull.
This will get its first actual try later today, but everything was in the box and the instructions pretty clear. A list of tools needed would’ve saved me some steps. Basically you need a set of metric sockets and wrenches, plus a pair of pliers and needle-nosed for the cotter pins holding the wheels in place. IIRC, 10, 12, and 13mm will cover the bolts and nuts.It is heavy, and someone with limited strength should get help getting the parts out of the box and lifting the engine unit. I assembled the carriage, turned the engine over, bolted the carriage on top, then flipped it over as it’s a lot easier to shift the carriage around to line up the bolt holes than the engine unit.Update:This works very well and produces excellent mulch. There is a slight learning curve as to how best to feed material into it, but once you figure that out it makes short work of yard debris. Larger pieces require that you feed them slowly to give the knives time to work them down. You definitely need good leather gloves to protect your hands. Knit gloves may snag on the branches and could draw your hands into the chute. Same goes for loose clothing like long sleeves. Wear ear- and eye-protection. Branches with side shoots will be pulled into the chute more easily if you squeeze them down a bit first.

Great Woodchipper!
Worked well...does a great job of shredding leaves and chipping branches down to a manageable pile. I had a large amount of tree limbs from some trees and vines in my yard and it handled them with ease. Would recommend for anyone with a big yard with lots of trees.

Engine Did Not Start...Do Not Buy
I bought the item in December 2024 and got around to opening the package in February 2025. I added the recommended engine oil and gas and tried to start the engine, but the engine did not start. Realizing the return policy was most likely over I attempted to troubleshoot the reason why it would not start. I checked for spark ( The spark plug had plenty of spark) , I checked for fuel ( I confirmed that fuel was getting into the cylinder) , and finally I checked for compression ( engine had adequate compression ). Then I replaced the fuel to see if I had bad fuel, yet the engine still did not startUnfortunately, now I have to go down many rabbit holes to figure out why a brand new engine will not start.I do not recommend this product to anyone, and would not recommend this product. Buy at your own risk!

It chips OK
Never write reviews but wanted to let folks know.I've had this chipper about 1 month. Used it 4/5 times. Assembly was pretty easy. 20 minutes or so.Starts easily, and runs well.OK.... The con's. You are not going to chip anything over 1 1/4" and even that is tough. Anything bigger than that and the machine bogs down FAST and tips back so hopper is on ground. So that could be a problem if you are not paying attention. Chipping branches 1" and smaller the machine works pretty well. If you are not chipping nice straight branches with small leaf cluster on end, feeding the material in is tough. I mean unless the branch is straight and perfect, you are probably going to have to use another branch and help push it through. The other problem with machine is the handle. It is incorporated in the top of hopper, and it's really low. So to move machine you have to bend over to tilt chipper and role it. It is not a great set up.I fixed this problem easily by attaching a couple pieces of tube aluminum outside each side of hopper, sticking up another 2' or so.

Excellent for Bamboo
Instead of working on tree branches which kicks a bit, it works the best for bamboo at or lesser than 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Very impressive on how smooth the engine worked and how little gas it consumed for continuously running at maximum for 1.5 hours. Again, highly recommend for dried bamboo.
