Good Backpacking Wind Pants
Bought these for long distance backpacking. The large size comfortably fits a tall man. Mine weigh 3.2 oz and work great as camp/sleep pants that kept me warm at over 10,000 feet or as an extra layer of warmth or wind protection over leggings while on the move.

XL Fits 6-ft 0-inch man
I bought these nylon pants as an inexpensive alternative to hiking wind pants. I tried several pair before trying the XL. The XL fits.I am 6ft, 0 inch, 175lbs, 34-36" waist, 32" length. The waist band is elastic and snug, but it's fine. I think that the XL would fit 34" length. Maybe even 36" length? Waist could go to 36", I think.(BTW - I bought a rain skirt separately in lieu of rain pants. I did not get these for rain.)

great cheap hiking wind pants
I wear 33x32 jeans and ordered X-Large body wrappers. These weigh 104 grams. I've carried this pair for 2 years, so far. For the way I hike, these are great (3-season, more time on trail, less time in camp). They are not durable - take care sitting and high stepping. These work well as occasional wind pants - perfect for protection from bugs, wind and sun, and they're surprisingly warm. A day of use might include warming up in the morning while doing "camp chores", protection from sun on an exposed ridge, protection from stinging nettle on overgrown trail, and then back on for after-dinner drinks while the shorts are hanging up to air out.i wouldn't consider them as protection from rain, and I wouldn't wear them if I planned on wearing pants all day.

Plum is a fun color
I already have these in black, which I've worn out after 12 years. The plum and jade are nice alternative colors. I do wish these pants came with a higher/longer waist (mine is long), and were a tad longer in the legs for those with long legs (mine are short; these hit my ankles). I wear these for warming up at the ballet barre and rehearsals. NOTE: this light fabric does breathe a bit, so they're not garbage bag "sauna" pants!

Very lightweight, wind proof, well made
I am using them while backpacking as a layer over tights. They are so light and wind proof. I think ther will replace heavier pants well.

Best tool for hiking
Sure, you can use them for dancing, but they are AMAZING as wind pants for hiking. Now, if you are hiking in scrub or very thorny stuff they will shred but for open trails, say hello to one of the most underrated tools in your hiking arsenal. For people like my wife who hates being cold, these were a gamechanger and keep her warm on cold mornings, evenings, really windy days.We both have a pair and I will never not have them.

Great for summer
I own 5 pairs of these. They're amazing for summer wear to hide your skin from the blaring sun. They're also amazing for fitness/dance and look good with a loose t-shirt or leotard. As long as they keep making them I'll keep buying them. I do wish they had more primary colors though like red or navy blue.
