Break them in and make sure you wrap your hands.
Things to keep in mind, especially for heavier hitters, break them in. Make sure you wrap your hands tightly especially at the wrist. They are Muay Thai gloves not boxing gloves. Strengthen your wrists to. But for heavier hitters you will notice it in your wrists. But great gloves. Don't neglect your break in period. These gloves are stiff right out of the box. The "glove box" is wider so a thicker pair of wraps are a must. Unless you have really big hands.

They do run small
They run a bit small. My current 16's are way smaller than my previous gloves which were 14's.I've had these for almost a year and they are still in great condition. No visible wear and no odor.Previous gloves I've owned even though I would them lem air out, use glove dogs and all that would still develop an odor. These do not.Best gloves I've had so far.

Materials are built to last, fit is weird
I got these in 16oz, my only complaint is the finger compartment is a bit long, but these would be great for large hands. It only slightly impacts my ability to open the glove up during clinching, catching kicks, etc.Otherwise these gloves are super tough, not bulky looking, and the stitching and velcro are heavy duty. These will probably last at least 3 years of hard use if taken good care of. Also for a Thai glove these are reasonably priced for what you get.

Don't even bother with cheaper gloves
These are the most popular Muay Thai gloves for a reason. They are just perfect. These feel great on my wrist. I have owned many pairs of gloves and I don’t like the bulkiness of some gloves. These are 16 oz but they “feel” lighter because of the design. These are great for clinching
