Can you turn the lights off completely while still using all the fans?

Hi friend, this version cooling pad not have function that using all fan and light off completely, we'll improvement in next version, but you can adjust light intensity on 3 big fan and 3 small fan.

why wont my mac recognize my mouse or flash drive when plugged into the second usb port on the cooling pad?

Well...short answer is because it's not actually connected to your computer for data transfer (of which both of those things are). It's just power going from your computer to the pad, and nothing going the other way. If you have a newer mac with a USB-C (Thunderbolt) port...there are some great "docking stations" out there for $40-70 bucks that will serve you better. This is the one I have...I run 2 extended displays, usb mouse and keyboard, plus charge my phone. About how many degrees cooler can I expect from this cooling pad?

I ran some tests with this and other cooler pad designs. The Liangstar pad resulted in a GPU temp reduction of ~3deg C and a CPU temp reduction of ~5deg C when running at full load. FPS was essentially unchanged from the baseline configuration (no cooler, flat on desk). Laptop was a Dell Precision 7760 with a i9-11950H and Nvidia RTZX A5000 mobile GPU running at 1920x1080 on the internal display.

I'm not able to connect the cord to my macbook pro Is there another cord I need?

For some odd reason, this doesn’t work when using a usbc to usba cable (I have tried 3 different brand cables, all failed to power this fan). Only works when original usba cable is connected to usba to usbc mini converter. I have a 16” MacBook Pro and the fan also doesn’t work when the usbc to usba cable is connected to a usbc power adapter rated at upto 20W which should be more than enough.
