Can this be safely used in a whirlpool tub? I have been told not to use essential oils in the bath because of their tendency to clog the jets.

I used to use it in our old one with no issues. Just let it dissolve first before starting the jets. It doesn't leave an oily film in the tub after so I don't imagine the jets do either.

Has anyone used this with cold water? Does it dissolve well with cold water?

No, I just add a cup of the Epsom Salt to my bath water. I try to soak for at least 10 minutes and just bath as usual. My skin feels soft after.
