Cold Bold Coffee 🧊
Delicious! Dissolve fast in cold water. I put about a tablespoon in 20 oz of cold water. Nicely bold with out being overwhelmingly bold. Really enjoy the taste doesn’t taste cheap. I’d say it’s a good quality coffee but I’m no expert but what I am is a cold black coffee drinker who gives this coffee 5 stars and a fist bump👊

Great product
Delicious. Dissolves easily and is very smooth tasting. I use 1.5 teaspoons for 8 ounces. Took it on a 3 week cruise and was very convenient. I also mix with chocolate protein powder for tasty shake.

Beware of caffeine content
Blends super easily, smooth taste and low acid but cant put too much to get the full body flavor unless I will be running to the bathroom in 30 mins. Unreal amounts of caffeine possibly just the batch I got, no amount on the label leaves it up to the consumer to guess. This is coming from someone who drinks 300mg with no problem so if you're sensitive probably not the best product but will def wake anyone up in the morning.

Surprising Find
I’ve always been skeptical of instant coffee but this sounded interesting (especially being cold brew) so I decided to give it a shot - This coffee is AMAZING. I’m actually pretty blown away at how good it tastes. I recommend doing 2 tsp per 8-10oz because I think the 1tsp is too weak, but it really depends on how strong you like your coffee. I also love how well this mixes with water / almond milk, and the flavor is really good. I’m used to buying Stok, and this is comparable in taste and quality, if not better. It’s also an amazing value. I’m getting way more out of this for the price than I am from a bottle of Stok. 10/10 recommend this coffee!!

Still tastes like instant
I was hoping the cold brew process would produce a powdered coffee that doesn't have the 'instant' flavor and aftertaste. This still does, though I will say it's smoother than some other instants. - I'm a big coffee drinker, making and drinking multiple cups a day. I'm also a backpacker and hiker. I was hoping this would be a lighter way to carry my coffee supply. The other options for backpacking are extra concentrated cold brew (javahouse pods) or brewing fresh from grounds. Except for flavor, a big factor for me, instant would be the preferable method since it's lighter and makes less trash (water weight doesn't count since we filter that along the way). But alas, this instant cold brew is not the flavor I hoped for. - Since it was mentioned in many other reviews, I found that a teaspoon was plenty for 10 oz of coffee.

Easy, quick, and oh-so-yummy!
Instant coffee and I haven't exactly been the best of friends. Every brand I've ever tried has left me with this lingering, unpleasant aftertaste that just ruins the whole experience. So, when I picked up this particular instant coffee, I didn't exactly have high expectations. But to my utter surprise, I was completely blown away! This instant coffee has become my absolute go-to for those crazy mornings when the thought of grinding beans and brewing a cup seems like a monumental task. So far, I've tried three different flavors from this company: 1) Cold Brew Coffee Granules Medium Dark Roast, 2) Decaf Granules, Medium Dark Roast Gourmet Coffee, 3) Colombian Coffee Classic Roast, and all of them have been amazing. I honestly don't have a favorite. Noteworthy is the texture: The decaf is a very fine grind that easily dissolves (even when added to a milk frother). In contrast, the Colombian coffee is a lot coarser. It still dissolves well, though, but it has blocked my frother wheel the first time I added it. It's easily remedied, though -- I just add it slowly with the frother already whirling. Overall, I am very happy with all three flavors!

NOT Cold-Brewed Coffee
Pay close attention to the name of this instant coffee: Instant Cold BREW Coffee Powder, not COLD-BREWED. The reason that Brew is not listed as BrewED is because this instant coffee is NOT cold-brewed. Several years ago, before corporations and companies began misinforming (and still are misinforming) people about iced coffee being cold-brewed coffee, I was making cold-brewed coffee, which requires regular ground coffee beans to be soaked for 12-24 hours in cold water. Once the idea of cold-brewed coffee reached corporate level, the concept was totally skewed. Iced coffee became “Cold Brew” coffee. That will never be the case (unless it goes through the actual cold-brewing process first). However, people latched onto that idea and ran with it, thinking they were drinking legitimate cold-brewed coffee. Now, enter the INSTANT cold-brew coffee granules or powder concept, and still, people think that this instant coffee by Civilized Coffee is cold-brewed. No, it is not. One of the reasons Civilized Coffee added “COLD BREW” to the name is because this instant coffee mixes very well in cold water, which is how I start making my daily cup of hot coffee with this instant coffee powder: I mix it in cold water first, stir it well, and pop it in the microwave for 1.5 min. There is no silt left at the bottom of my coffee mug, and that is due to the form of the dried coffee, which is powdered. “POWDER” is in the name of this coffee because that is what instant coffee needs to be to mix well in cold water. I’m experiencing minor GERD after drinking this coffee by Civilized Coffee, so I might have to go back to cold-brewing coffee for a bit and drink Civilized Coffee’s instant powdered coffee occasionally instead of daily. I do enjoy the taste of Civilized Coffee’s instant powdered coffee, so I’m not going to totally stop drinking it.
