Good Brush - Linzer 3121 0400 Stain Waterproofing Brush, 4 in.
I used this brush to stain my modest-sized deck, 14 x 10. I apply an oil-based stain, and I'm not one to scrub furiously with turpentine or linseed oil to clean the brush; it's never the same afterward, no matter how meticulous you are. So I stain and toss. This brush held-up very well under the pressure. It got into all the nooks, crannies and grooves and did a great job with the stain. No bristles came off the brush during application. I've completed my project this year, but am ordering another one to have on hand for next time I have to maintain the deck again in a few years. From my experience, this is a decently-priced, good product for this one-time use.

Reasonably Priced for the Quality You Get

Great Brush
The brush held a considerable amount of stain and never broke down through two coats applied by hand. The decks which are twenty years old were scraped and sanded before staining. The Linzer brush was cleaned several times throughout the staining process due to the stain starting to harden but did not lose any stiffness throughout the entice process. Ohio weather is brutal and numerous deck boards had wood separation but were easily filled with the Linzer brush. I purchased two brushes in expectation that one inexpensive brush would not make it through the complete staining process but to my surprize the project was completed and still have two stain brushes.

Good value
Used it to apply Armstrong-Clark stain to my new pressure treated deck. The brush was very durable and also held up under the stress of going between the boards. At this price I simply discarded the brush after the job was done instead of cleaning with solvents. TIP: I put the brush in a tight fitting/air tight plastic bag when I was done for EACH day. That way the stain didn't harden and I could unwrap and continue the next day with the same brush.

LOVE this brush!
I used this brush to hand paint a 18x14 screen in porch, floor and walls. This brush worked very well for the price, and I was able to wash and reuse for several days. I read a review stating the brush fell apart after using once, but I definitely did not experience this. The brush is wide and thick, which is perfect for painting plank wood. Considering the quarantine, I was limited in options as to what type of brush I could get. But his definitely worked perfectly and you can't beat the price. I highly recommend.

It worked for the one project I needed it for
I would have rated this brush much higher if the bristles were attached better. Halfway through my water sealing project, I was having to pick loose bristles off of my wood. I managed to get the project done, but the brush went straight into the trash after that.
