Just as nice as the more expensive pens
My husband said that these pens are just as nice as the similar, more expensive ones we usually buy. The ink glides out smoothly and feels nice in his hand which is important since he writes a lot. He can’t speak to durability since he’s pretty forgetful and loses pens frequently but in general he said that the pens were good and he’s ok with switching from the ones he’s used for years to these. The price is reasonable too which is nice. Why are decent pens so expensive? While pens in general aren’t all that exciting to discuss and I feel a bit silly writing a serious review about them, no one wants to waste their money on awful pens. These are good and the price is great.

my writing experience with aenart pens.
I write a lot. these are the best pens . i have tried a lot of pens. i find while they are best writing pens that they run out of ink quickly compared to other pens. they are click pens and they don't dry out. smearing and smudging has not been a problem. they are comfortable to grip.

They're cheap gel pens.
Like the headline says, they're cheap, and they're gel pens. That's about all you can say for them. This is a great kind of pen that you'd give to someone that isn't your enemy, but also not a good friend. Co-workers perhaps? That said, there is one thing working against this pen - the fact that it's a gel pen. (Cheap pens aren't always terrible!)The build quality, while average (leaning cheap), is good enough to feel really good - honestly, if the issues I'm about to explain were fixed, this would be an easy 5/5 but I can't do it.As for the bad... A pen needs to write. Sometimes, it'll contribute to drawing. Primarily, however, it's a writing implement. If it doesn't do that well, it's not really successful. Unfortunately, these pens work about 40% of the time when writing letters on a paper (on various types, from super-smooth printer paper, to photo paper, to rougher sketchbook/drawing paper). It definitely works like 95% of the time when scribbling on the paper to encourage ink flow, but by that point there's more scribbles on the paper than actual notes. The fact that they are gel pens while also being cheap is the biggest issue.Gel pens like to skip when the user changes direction often. Nicer gel pens aren't bad with this, but cheaper ones often experience this. Sure, the pen writes smooth and glides well in long strokes going in one direction, but the Latin (or Roman) alphabet contains multiple short strokes that often change direction. This essentially destroys the purpose of normal writing with these pens. Are they alright for art? Sometimes. When not making clean line art, I actually like pens, pencils, and even brushes that are imperfect. It makes it easier to portray more organic designs - when needed, though that's not needed all the time, and is an exception. In conclusion, these aren't great pens, and unless you're going to use them unconventionally in art, they are not worth it. Pilots and BICs are way more reliable and provide far better value.

Good product
Product as described and glides smoothly over paper. Does not smear. Pen appears to be about 2/3 full of ink.
