Quickly became a favorite
My husband and I both are daily coffee drinkers. I prefer it black and he prefers creamer but will drink it black as well. We are also big fans of Guinness so when I saw this, I had to order it.It arrived quickly and I wasted no time opening it up. The beans have a nice, pleasant coffee aroma. I set up the coffeemaker for the next day and when I woke up, the smell was wonderful. I grabbed a cup and was very surprised at how mild flavored it was. It was smooth, didn't have any acidy taste and no bitterness. No, it does not have a stout flavor nor does it taste like beer in any way. As much as I enjoy a good stout, I want my coffee to taste like coffee. This does. My husband and I both agreed that we really liked this one and I immediately ordered another bag after discovering that the Guinness online no longer had any in stock.I know it says it's an exclusive, limited edition, but I do hope that they keep making it as this easily became our favorite coffee. It may not be cheap, but good coffee rarely is.

Good but not great
Good coffee but nothing special. The use of the Guinness logo is a marketing ploy.

I like getting whole beans as it makes it stay fresher longer
This is becoming my husband's favorite coffee I'll be probably ordering it more often than just every Father's Day for him.

Tried it out of curiosity
I've roasted coffee on an amateur small batch Behmor roaster for about ten years now. I generally prefer to drink a 3rd Wave-style coffee roast ie. Coava, Verve, Stumptown, etc. I found this Guiness coffee to be intriguing, but upon brewing it, I found it to be a bit over-roasted and dark. Did not taste fresh; I generally drink coffee no more than 2 weeks after roasting. I couldn't find a roasting date on the bag, which means it could have sat on a shelf or warehouse for months. I tried it out of curiosity but would not order it again.

Tastes Great
We really liked this coffee. Had it at a friends house then we bought a bag. It's pricey so it's good for a gift or a one off purchase.

BUYER BEWEAR
I am a big Guinness fan and when I first saw this coffee on amazon , I didn't look at the price per ounce I just looked at the pictures of the package the were on the website, it does not show the weight at all. . when I receive the coffee it was a very small bag and I was very disappointed with the small amount inside the bag. I usually see most bags of coffee starting at 1 pound or more this was just half of a pound only 8 ounces I did not try the coffee yet but I will keep it and give it a try. I went back to the website and then notice right under the price online it has the price per ounce which is almost $2.00 an ounce . I will keep it but I will never buy it again unless 2 things., 1- I really love it and 2- they make a 2 pound bag for that same price.
