I am a professional cabinet maker for travel vans. I use this latch as my standard latch for all doors and drawers. They have a sleek look and work very well if installed correctly. You need to pay attention to the material thickness limitations. I typically install these on 3/4" bamboo laminate. They will work well from 1/4" tp 7/8" but I wouldn't push them beyond those limits. These require precise tensioning especially on slick material. If installed correctly they will perform indefinitely. I have never had to replace any on the numerous cabinets I have built and installed.

So far these are awesome. We placed them in some homemade cabinets for a camper van that is a very tight space. Since they are almost flush with the cabinet doors, we save a lot of space. They seem sturdy and well made even if out of plastic. May have gone with the chrome for a better look. Hopefully they will hold up to the vibration of a moving vehicle....only time will tell..

Holds up great over time, had one already & finally put one on the other side of my motorcycle hard bag. I feel very secure with my bags not coming open riding down the road..

It looked like it would fit based on the nice CAD drawing in the listing, but I wasn't sure until I installed it. It looks identical, and could be the same part from the same manufacturer. Which, by the way, is rather cheap. It's out of character compared to the high-end hardware elsewhere on the boat, but this part matches the original.

Good quality

The product even when closed is quite domed and protrudes from the surface. The overall feel of the product is 6 out of 10. I would not recommend especially for the price.

Buyer beware I guess. The title on this is misleading. It says in the title "(Pack of 6)" so, I thought I was ordering 6 of them for the price listed.(approx $15). If I had known (and if I would have looked closer I could have seen it, but I didn't), The 14.50 price is for 1 unit even though the title says it is for 6. If I had know I was paying this price for 1 I would have found another option. The rating given is for the misleading title. The product seems to be good quality but I will have to decide if I am going to keep it or send it back at this point. I needed 6 for my project and was more than willing to pay $15 for 6, but I am not willing to pay $90 to get the 6 I thought I was getting.
