A whole lot of quality for not a lot of cash
I've been a man of constant troubles when it comes to my beard. My beard is prone to drying out constantly, the skin beneath is sensitive and quick to develop that ever unsightly beard-druff and there's been many a time where I've considered shaving the whole thing off (even if I happen to look like Private Pyle from Full Metal Jacket without any facial hair) simply because of the constant troubles I've had. I've tried many products to varying degrees of success. Some oils have been too thin and ineffectual, requiring obscene amounts to get full and effective coverage on my rather sizable beard. Others have been the right thickness, but are simply either too expensive to use regularly or have caused unfortunate reactions to my skin. It's been a frustrating task of trying to find something that works well for my hair and skin type. And along comes Bossman.I had heard about Beard Jelly through various reviewers on Youtube, but never took the leap until my last bottle of oil had run it's course. I regret that decision because, quite frankly, I had been missing out. Immediately, I was pleased with how good the product was. The scent was potent, strong without being offensive. The jelly was thick, easy to apply and covered every last bit of my beard with plenty to spare. And it's lasting time is absolutely incredible. In the past, oils would normally give me coverage for a couple of hours. This stuff? An easy eight hours at the bare minimum. That's without talking about the results: My beard has never felt softer. My skin has never been clearer. It's just been an absolute success across the board and I'd recommend this to anyone.Pros:-Excellent quality.-Thick enough to handle any size beard.-The cost to quantity ratio is amazing. You're getting four times the product to your typical cost of beard oil.-Great results.Cons:-Only one and it's so minor that I wouldn't remove a star from the overall rating. This stuff does not like the heat. I've found that, on days when I'm working outside on hotter days, it takes some time to fully absorb into my beard. It makes for a great shine to my beard, but it can lead to some transfer onto my hands and phone.Overall, I'd suggest this to anyone. I'll be buying more very soon.

Thought I would give it a try, glad I did.
Gotta say, I wasn't sure about this stuff. But I like trying new things. I have to say, it's well worth it. It does a great job softening and taming my beard. The scent is nice, but not overwhelming like some I have tried. And they aren't kidding when they say a little goes a long way. My beard feels softer, is shinier, and is a little fuller. I am glad I tried it, and now will be coming back as long as I have the beard. Nice job folks.

Bossman Jelly or Lite Oil with all natural ingredients!
Beard hygiene products are subjective and like many of you, I'm no stranger to the potions, lotions, oils and waxes that are available for your beard. I used to have a hipster beard, but these days I keep it pretty close. So keep that in mind when you read my review. The ingredients sound promising. Soy Bean Oil, Beeswax, Castor Seed Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Avocado Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Seed Butter, Tocopherol. But the reality for me was that it was heavy and greasy. It's supposed to condition your beard, make it softer and more luxurious. But it never absorbs and sits heavy on your beard and skin. Throughout the day, if I touched my beard, my fingers came away with a greasy oil that I needed to wipe away.I know what you're thinking. He used too much. Not the case at all. I used a small amount and tried various amounts to test whether or not it would absorb into my beard and skin. It always just sat on top of my beard and skin. Worse, it made my skin break out along the trim edge of my beard. That means the oil was clogging my pores and I needed a new razor blade, but that's another story. My favorite product I've found so far is Wild Birch Premium Beard Oil. It's absorbed quickly by my beard and skin and leaves my beard feeling soft and still controls the frizz and flyaway hairs. I was hoping for a similar experience with this product. They call it Jelly Beard Oil and I'm assuming that characteristic comes from the beeswax, which is the second ingredient. It's a liquid when it comes out, but it's thick. Once you rub it between your palms to apply to your beard, the heat from your hands and the friction from rubbing them together quickly turns this into a nice oil. I rubbed it in thoroughly through my beard, ensuring it was applied evenly and completely. I then used my horsehair beard brush to work it through my beard. Now for the smell. I purchased Magic Scent, which is described as a warm and intoxicating blend of rich sandal wood and vanilla oils that creates a clean base intended to highlight the bergamot, patchouli and frankincense accents. Basically, it smells like cedar and patchouli. Which I actually like. It's manly. But I'll tell you that people are strongly divided about the smell of patchouli. As light as it may be, people will either love it or hate it. There's no middle ground, so it was disappointing that my wife told me my beard smells like an old hippie. If this works for you, it's a good value. It's a big bottle and a good value compared to so many of the other beard oils available on Amazon. Personally, I was disappointed and even after trying it multiple times, thinking it would magically get better, I was always left wanting more from this product. I know my experience may not be shared by everyone, but it's honest.UPDATE:I was contacted by the Boss Man himself, founder Stephen Condon about my experience. That right there should tell you something about how passionate this company is about their product for men's beards. He offered to send me a small bottle of a new Lite Bossman Beard Oil that was lighter with less butter (which thickens it) and the Lite version has Jojoba seed oil. As you can see, the ingredients are similar: Soybean Oil, Sunflower Seen Oil, Jojoba Esters, Beeswax, Safflower Seed Oil, Castor Seed Oil, Avocado Oil, Shea Butter, Tocopherol. The Magic Scent for the Lite version has the same Essential Oil Blend of Bergamot Oil, Fruit Oil, Patchouli Oil, Frankincense Oil, Vanillin Natural and Sandal Wood Oil.I'm very happy to say that the Lite version is much more to my satisfaction and I've been using it daily. I work it into my beard and rub a little on my face as well. It seems to absorb better with my beard and skin than the Jelly did. The smell is the same cedar wood-ish manly goodness. Nice to be able to buy with confidence from a company that stands behind their product 100%.
