Escaping From Houdini

I really enjoyed this book! I’m very intrigued to see what’s next for Audrey-Rose and Thomas.

**Spoilers below**.....While the mystery was engaging and kept me reading, I couldn't say the same with the part of the plot where Audrey Rose started to question her feelings toward the ringmaster and Thomas. I found the former slimy, opportunistic and not at all attractive. I just couldn't see how she would be attracted/have affection for this guy. Perhaps she could feel sorry for him when she heard his sob story, but the attempt to have a love triangle felt forced, which led to me taking away a star in my rating.Also, the title made me think Houdini was going to be more centered in the story, so it was a bit disappointing that he was relegated to the romantic side story with Liza.

Eu adorei a história e a construção narrativa em consonância com a desconstrução dos personagens para a resolução dos assasinatos no Etruria. Inesperado, mas incrivelmente bem construído e permeado pela atmosfera mágica e ilusória. O leitor adentra a atmosfera do Moonlight Carnival e se torna parte do jogo de ilusões construído. Um verdadeiro truque de mágica!

Es mi favorito de toda la saga. Tiene magia, misterio, romance y fantasía. 100% recomendado
