As can be seen from my photo, but not on the product page, the wire sleeve to the molex plug isn't attached to the plug in any way to protect the wires from being pulled out or broken, it's just two thin wires running into the back of the plug.

Works great, used it inside my gaming PC to power a small display via USB a to micro usb for monitoring my system temps. It installed easily and posted properly first time with no issues so far. The display gets the proper amount of power from this with no fluctuations. I've used two similar molex to USB connectors to power led light strips too, so its compatible with my power supply and will work reliability. The other two have several years of use on them already and have proven their durability. I trust this one has a long life ahead too. These are a good value, especially if you're still working with a non-modular PSU and have no other use for the molex connectors.

It works, perfect for my case LED strip that need just power from USB, it was cheap. The pins in the molex end of the adapter are a bit cheap and as such you need to really be careful and fiddle with it to align the male to the female molex power connection. Once its in, its all good.

Needed this for an internal RGB strip that wouldn't turn off when the PC turned off while it was plugged into the USB port, but this worked fine, now when my PC turns off, the RGB strip turns off too

The pins are wobbly, they need to be aligned when plugged in, and then depending on the orientation it can disconnect. Cheaply made, but for this price it is OK
