Is it suitable for PVC door frame ?

It is, I would recommend cleaning any dust and dirt away before sticking the Velcro to it. Then, at end of summer when you take it down clean excess adhesive from frame. We use them all summer to leave door open. We also use an expanding curtain pole (just the type from cheap home ware shop) to help keep it in place, especially good if you have boisterous children or dogs. Hope this helps. Is this product suitable for a metal door frame?

Yes .the tape is very strong i put mine up April and its in partial sunlight. If the door opens outwards its better .as its never in direct sunlight .its a little on the long side so it leaves a small gap at the bottom its like having a cat flap .bonus.

Does the velcro strips stick to brick

I have only ever fixed it to the wooden surrounds of the door

Can you buy the tape separately?

Double sided velcro tape is widely available but you don't need to use all the tape they supply just cut into 6in straps and put 4 strips down each length I would recommend these fly screens as the best on the market
