Absolutely love it
I absolutely love this stuff! I am a licensed esthetician and have been using it since esthetics school. My favorite way to use it is to dermaplane then put a thin layer of the NuPeel on, let it sit for about a minute then massage it over the skin. It picks up any clinging dead skin and I love that you can actually see the dead skin sloughing off. Very satisfying. It’s a very gentle chemical exfoliant that I’ve never seen to have adverse reactions, even on sensitive skin types. It won’t transform your skin, but it works wonders for a refresh. Love it.

My HERO product. Must buy!
Love, love, love! This is my hero product! I have been using Theraderm NuPeel at least once a month for over a decade. I was first introduced to NuPeel by my dermatologist (a UCLA medical school graduate). I have since gifted it to friends and family and found that anyone who didn’t absolutely love the product did not apply correctly. It can be tricky so here are the detailed instructions provided to me by my doctor: 1) Wash and dry face before applying 2) Squeeze a nickel size dollop onto clean DRY hands. There should be NO moisture on your hands during the application or removal process. 3) Apply in even layer to your face and neck, avoiding the immediate eye area. The product should be applied in a thin, even layer. 4) Apply any excess product to back of hands or other areas and wipe any remainder on a dry towel. Do NOT rinse hands in water as it is crucial they remain dry for the duration of the treatment. 5) Allow product to sit for approximately 60 seconds. 6) Begin rubbing face with finger tips in small circular motions. Product (and your dead skin cells) should pill under your fingers. If this does not happen within 5 to 10 seconds of rubbing, allow the product to sit fo another 15 to 30 seconds then try again. This tends to happen when product is applied too thick. 7) Continue rubbing until the product is largely removed and/or stops pilling. You will be left with small balls of dead skin you can feel on your face and fingertips. 8) Rinse with water and pat dry. 9) Enjoy your beautiful, fresh skin. Note 1: if you leave the product on longer than a minute or two it will not pill. That doesn’t mean it isn’t exfoliating but you miss out on the satisfaction of feeling the dead skin pill beneath your fingertips. Note 2: Skeptical family members have argued the pilling is all product and not dead skin. After years of using this product, I noticed that when I use the product more than once a week I experience little to no pilling, which I believe is because there is little dead skin to exfoliate. If I use once per month, I get lots of pilling. You decide!

Retin-A user: this helps with the dry layer of skin
I started using tretinoin a couple of times per week in the past couple of months. I am having visible overall improvement to the skin, but was often left with a dry layer of skin that was just weird...it didn't bounce like my regular skin and it had a dull appearance. Enter this peel. I can use this a couple of times per week and shed that layer of skin, which has caused the positive effects of the retin-A to be even more apparent once the dry layer of skin is gone. This is very gentle and causes no dryness for me. Please note that it really works best on dry skin. A couple of times I have tried to put it on somewhat damp skin and just wasted the product.

Buy it. Now.
This peel is without a doubt the best on the market. I received a sample of this from my esthetician 5 years ago, and have been addicted to enzyme peels ever since. I love that these don't irritate my skin like rougher exfoliants do, and the beading of the dead skin cells is so satisfying. After my sample ran out, I immediately purchased a bottle from Amazon. After a few years, I started to try other peels that claim to do the same (Skin Inc., Peter Thomas Roth), but I always come back to this. For the price and the results, no peel is better. A quickie run down of the differences: Skin Inc. Pure Revival Peel - Acts quickly and peels well, but the product dries too quickly, making it difficult to exfoliate the maximum amount of skin cells. I kept having to use more product to get the rest of the cells off. Peter Thomas Roth Firm X Peeling Gel - It does feel like it's peeling. But I noticed the product itself, when it would collect around the lid, would feel suspiciously like dead skin cells. I can't say it DOESN'T work, but the attempt to maybe 'beef up' the appearance of how well it peels is enough for me to not buy it again. Theraderm NuPeel - The gel takes a good 30 seconds to activate, but once it does it's well worth it. For me, the gel stays emollient for up to 2 minutes, so I can continue to exfoliate and feel that I'm truly getting the most out of the product. For what it's worth, I have combination skin (but tends to be on the oilier side) and mild break outs.

Best product alive from the pickiest person alive
Best peel alive - incredibly underrated and not known enough (coming from a person who went deep into skincare science to address crazy acne sensitivity). Got a sample at a medspa and have been purchasing ever since. Actually incredibly gentle and truly works - not just product pilling which I have verified in many ways. Incredibly gentle to use multiple times a week if needed. Every person I show this to is obsessed.
